Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I thought my internet connection was OK again today, but then, bang on 3pm, it failed again. My neighbour, from 2 doors up, has just been round, and him and his wife don't have any internet or phone signal, and he is on another network again, so we really don't know what the issue is. There are always different cable and internet companies digging up the street, and leaving it in a mess, so I don't know if that's a factor

Phone is acting up so..

Oh no! It's a bigger problem than I thought!!

Hope yours is OK again soon Bob ;)

Just thinking out loud. Why is Chinese food in America so appalling. Actual Chinese food is good.

Don't ming me....Just having a yell at clouds moment.
You might be in the wrong state for that - I can get amazing Chinese food here in California. Good tip a 2nd generation Chinese-American told me a while back: if they give you fortune cookies at the end of the meal, it's Americanized; if they give you orange slices at the end of the meal, it's authentic.

Is it bad Paul? It's funny how, when you travel around the world, the local interpretations of Chinese food, and Indian food, varies massively  There's a Indian takeaway near me, they do Punjabi food, and the place is certainly run by Punjabis, but the food really isn't good, on the whole. I have to say though, their Indian food is better than their pizzas! 🤣

Well I have never had orange slices at the end so I guess there is still hope. Thanks for the tip, Tyson

I bet there Pizza is better than the Chinese I had last night. General Tso is rolling in his grave from people serving that slop.

Dang, lots of horsepower on the back of that thing. Cool pics, Pete.
Thanks Paul. Have a good day!
Pete, I enjoyed all the pics of you and your dad and brother fishing. Hard to beat that kind of quality time. But surely they could have fit a fourth large motor on that back of that boatā€¦šŸ˜³šŸ¤£
Thanks Barrett and yeah I get the redundancy of more than one motor but three?

LOL! :D Thanks pal, poor old Bod can't get his favourite beverage in Poland, so he wasn't taking any prisoners - not that he was much different when he lived here! :D I used to be able to drink him under the table, but I take it easy these days ;) I checked that they had plenty of 'Dog' in the fridge when I went into the pub, and it was ice-cold. I doubt they had much left at the end of the night, as I reckon Bod had about 16 bottles! I was tempted to have a couple myself, but the pub had South Island Pale from West Yorkshire's Saltaire brewery, which kept me sustained during the 2020 lockdown here, and I haven't tried it on draught before :)

Sounds like Bod made the best of his short
visit! 🤣 Good job looking out for him and making sure the pub was prepared. šŸ˜‰ Hope the Saltaire was good on draft. I don’t think I’ve had Newcastle since I was in college!

When I saw him in town today, it was clear that part of the deal for his coming over, was doing a 'supply run', so he had all sorts of things for the missus, everything from cosmetics and hair products, to samosas, and I'd be surprised if he didn't have at least a couple of bottles of Brown Ale with him! He didn't have any space for presents for the kids, so I slipped him £50, and told him to get them something on the other side! :D :)

That’s like us coming back from Arkansas loaded up with stuff we can’t get up here. šŸ™‚

Looks good Barrett, you must have had pikelets here! šŸ¤£šŸ˜‰

Maybe that was it. 🤣

While I do have to admit that I like ā€œAmericanā€ Chinese food, it is one of those things where when it’s good, it’s good, and when it’s bad, it’s bad. Maybe Wisconsin isn’t the best place to find good Chinese food. I hear they can’t even make a proper Old Fashioned there… šŸ˜‰šŸ¤£

I noticed a lot of the takeaway places there that specialize in an international cuisine also serve pizza. My brother had a favorite kebab/pizza place in Bath that we ordered from a few times when we were there. I never had their pizza, but the doner kebab was tasty (especially with the spicy sauce).

Well at least it looks cool. 🤣
