Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

😊👍

Thanks a lot Pete 😊👍

I'm glad you all had a great time buddy 😎 Thanks for the fantastic photos, that meal looks delicious 👍

Nice fishing Pete 😎 I was going to ask about that impressive-looking lighthouse, but it seems Prester John Prester John has some inside knowledge 😎👍

Thanks a lot David 🙂 Impressive Joseph Rodgers 😎👍

Your back doesn't seem to have slowed you down Paul, you're a hard worker 👍 Cool pic there 😎 👍

Thank you my friend, I am really pleased with the Lamb, Eric did a great job 🙂👍

Well done Greg, come back and see us soon 🙂👍

Great pic Daniel 😊😎👍

Wow, that's incredible Vince, when I saw Pete's pic, I'd assumed it was an older structure. Looks fantastic 😎 I bet Duane @sitflyer would have loved it 🙂👍

I'd never heard of Bonnet Head Sharks before 👍

I've always been disappointed with shark 👍

Thanks for the extra info Vince, I'll be looking online for some more pics 😎👍
Here's a few pics I took a few weeks ago, including one of the interior of the chapel:

Can you eat them???
Tried it the trip before this one, didn’t care much for it, but our guide said lots of folks do.
I'd never heard of Bonnet Head Sharks before 👍
Neither had I Jack until we caught them the first time in the Daytona area several years ago.
I see you don't hold a bonnet-head shark with your thumb over its lower jaw.
Not if you value your thumb! 🤣

Beautiful knife and gorgeous scenery Bob.
😎👍

I’ve never eaten shark. I wouldn’t be adverse to ordering it if it was on the menu but if a double cheeseburger is on the same menu oh well. This is about as close as I get to sharks these days. My shoe was touched by the ocean while taking this pic.

Yes, a cheeseburger in paradise would be just fine with me.🍔
I like the character left in the coat of your K'roo Kurt.👍🏻

Grabbed a quick picture of Rosie in the morning sun today. Have a wonderful evening Guardians View attachment 2196081
Rosie gets some serious pocket time!! Great to see my friend.
Thanks Pete. Hope your wife has a great break as well. 😎👍

Awesome lamb you has as well! Love the pictures. My daughter caught this Bonnet head several years ago in Florida. View attachment 2196107

Thanks buddy! 😎👍

Nice way to spend the evening Paul. 😎👍
Cool picture of your daughter and her catch.

Thanks. Hard to beat a cigar on a nice day right before sundown.
Glad you are on the mend Paul. It will be nice for the family to arrive at a " fresh " home ready to make their own. You have the art of winding down perfected.
Mean green is looking good.
Feeling a lot better. I can usually deal with the back pain ok. Its the shooting down the leg thing that takes me out of commission. Thankfully it subsided.

Thank you, Bob. These Wisconsin soring nights makes it easy to unwind and relax.
It's maiden job, getting some patina going cutting some hot meat and hot vegies.   .

Nothing like hot meat to get the patina going. Looks delicious, Leon.
Absolutely! This thread is so much fun! Here are a few more pictures. This boat storage was really impressive. I’ve never see a forklift that size. Lots of “Miami Vice” vibes in there.

Dang, lots of horsepower on the back of that thing. Cool pics, Pete.

Good morning Guardians, nice to see so many folks dropping in :) My mate Bod was staying in a guesthouse up the road from me, and they had an 11pm curfew. He made it back with a minute to spare! :D He'd have been better staying with me, then we could have sat up all night, drinking brown ale and rum, talking rubbish, and waking up today with sore heads! 🤣 His flight back to Poland is not until this afternoon, so I've told him to give me a ring if he wants to come round for breakfast :) I hope everyone else is having a good week, and that your day goes well today

Great to visit with old friends. You and Bod looks to have had a great time.

Great photo of the Albers and the patch!!!

Wow Bob, those photos are fantastic  :)
Incredible Vince, just amazing  Shame about the neighbours of course! :D ;)

It's always nice to learn something new my friend :)

I can remember serving shark, tapas style, cubed, coated in seasoned and spicy flour, and deep fried. I didn't think it was worth the trouble though. The only other time I tried it was in a fish and chip restaurant at the coast, it was sold here as 'Rock Salmon' or 'Scarborough Woof' at the time, and I had wanted to try it for years. I wished I had stuck to haddock or cod! :D I'm not saying I wouldn't eat shark again, but I wouldn't go out of my way to find it :D I've had swordfish, which I found tastier, but haven't seen that on sale here for a while either

Great pic Kurt, you fellers are knocking it out of the park with your K'roo knives  I'd rather have the double cheeseburger too! :D

I've just had a burger, but my dental crown came out yet again  I can't believe what a bad job they did of making it, it has been out twice in 9 days 🤨

That's good to hear Paul, that sciatica is something else, the Receptionist in my doctor's told me she had had two kids, and the pain from sciatica was worse than giving birth! I hope it doesn't return soon buddy

Great to visit with old friends. You and Bod looks to have had a great time.

Great photo of the Albers and the patch!!!
Thanks a lot my friend, it was great to catch up. It was through Bod, that I first got to know Tool Man. I have said I'm happy to go over to Poland for a few days if he can get excused by the missus again! :D I offered to buy Bod lunch, but he said he never eats during the day, I told him he never eats at night either! :D

It sounds like everybody is having a nice day :) I had a very nice nap on the sofa earlier :D I thought my internet connection was OK again today, but then, bang on 3pm, it failed again. My neighbour, from 2 doors up, has just been round, and him and his wife don't have any internet or phone signal, and he is on another network again, so we really don't know what the issue is. There are always different cable and internet companies digging up the street, and leaving it in a mess, so I don't know if that's a factor

I spoke to Tool Man on the phone this market, and he sounded like he was on good form. It's great weather here at the moment, so it will be nice to catch some sun at the market, for once. I haven't carried The Chieftain in a while, so I thought I'd put him on cake-cutting duty tomorrow! :D

Lots of character in the stag on your HHB there, Dwight. Lookin’ good!

Had a productive day around the house. One more bedroom left to paint and have all the shutters removed for a fresh coat of paint and I'm done. I will be back to actually contributing to the forum shortly. I hope everyone had a great day today.

Thank you all for your concerns for me regarding my back. Feeling better today.

A nice smoke and brew to kind of wind down the day. I love this beer. If any of you have the opportunity to have one when your going through or visiting Wisconsin, I highly recommend it. Got Mean Green with me today.

Sounds like you’ve been keeping busy, Paul. Nice beer choice!

We had a very pleasant evening, catching up. Bod drinks like a fish, and I told him I was paying for the food and beers, so nearly every time I went to the bar, I got a pint for me, and 2 pint bottles of Newcastle Brown for Bod! :D I lost count of how many he had! 🤣

Glad you were able to catch up with your mate, Jack. Sounds like y’all weren’t messing around! You should’ve called the pub ahead of time, they could’ve had the pints lined up around all around the place for you like they used to do in Sheffield when the cutlers’ shift ended. 😉🤣

Pete, I enjoyed all the pics of you and your dad and brother fishing. Hard to beat that kind of quality time. But surely they could have fit a fourth large motor on that back of that boat…😳🤣

Here’s my Albers with a light (and late) breakfast. These crumpets aren’t as good as the ones I had when visiting England (and they cost about 3x as much), but they’re the only ones I can find around here, and with a bit of butter, they aren’t too bad. 😉 I should really try making my own some time.

LOL! :D Thanks pal, poor old Bod can't get his favourite beverage in Poland, so he wasn't taking any prisoners - not that he was much different when he lived here! :D I used to be able to drink him under the table, but I take it easy these days ;) I checked that they had plenty of 'Dog' in the fridge when I went into the pub, and it was ice-cold. I doubt they had much left at the end of the night, as I reckon Bod had about 16 bottles! I was tempted to have a couple myself, but the pub had South Island Pale from West Yorkshire's Saltaire brewery, which kept me sustained during the 2020 lockdown here, and I haven't tried it on draught before :) When I saw him in town today, it was clear that part of the deal for his coming over, was doing a 'supply run', so he had all sorts of things for the missus, everything from cosmetics and hair products, to samosas, and I'd be surprised if he didn't have at least a couple of bottles of Brown Ale with him! He didn't have any space for presents for the kids, so I slipped him £50, and told him to get them something on the other side! :D :)

Looks good Barrett, you must have had pikelets here! 🤣😉

Phone is acting up so..
Thanks Jack, it is a great place to wander. Very few people know about this part of the preserve.

Pete thank you and I have always enjoyed seeing your lamb.

Barrett, a nice serving of English necessities.
