Looking good David 😎👍
Steve I'd bet that's suppose to read "AGRICARE". It's a UK company. And the right side of the "O" looks flattened out
I've wondered the same Dwight, it wouldn't be the first time something, (in this case the stencil for the etch), has been produced with a spelling mistake. The knife could have been a sample, or a whole run could have been produced, and then rejected, or sold on. If a complete run had been produced though, the blades might have had the etch polished off. Despite this being my initial thought, I've kept on searching, but finding absolutely nothing, so I think you're correct. Steve could even have a unique knife, certainly an interesting one 👍
Bob every book he's written is worth a read. Especially "INTO THE WILD" and the one you have ordered.
👍👍
Hope everyone is having a good day.View attachment 2219146
That's another unusual Lamb, great pic buddy 😎👍

Good morning Guardians, I didn't sleep well, so going to be flagging by lunchtime I reckon. No chance of a nap at the market unfortunately! Going to be another nice, sunny day though 😊 Have a great day Guardians 👍
You too, Jack. Look forward to hearing about the market.

Looks like a day to rely on some (or a lot of) sleep substitute…coffee. Hope your day is as nice as the weather is there, Jack!

Jack have a good day at the market and maybe some Charlie’s coffee can keep you going.

Well, it's gonna be more than bright and sunny here in SW Florida today, with the heat index approaching 110º. Very unhealthy for all the geezers around here. Yesterday we had our thermostat set at 77º and by 5 o'clock in the evening it was 80º in the house, just couldn't keep up with the heat. Relief is still a few days away.

Supposed to reach 106 where I am. And that's not the heat index!

Yeah, I had a couple of strong coffees, and some cake, but I'm pretty whacked now (3.30pm)! Thank you Jeremy :)

Yikes, that's pretty melty Jeff! I hope you can find some shade my friend :)
Cool pic Jer :) I have seen those wee Coleman lamps on sale over here too :)

I hope everyone is having a great day :) Boy, I'm worn out! :D I had a good day with Tool Man, and the market regulars though :) Someone brought me down a local newspaper, with a recent piece about Stan Shaw, along with an obituary of an old grinder called Brian Alcock, who I met a few times, and whose photo has appeared here once or twice. We were joined by Barry The Ted, and Old Billy, seen below with Tool Man, and by Harry Hotballs, John The Wig, and Special Needs Scott

Tool Man was on good form, and enjoyed having some of his favourite cake :) He was concerned to hear that Paul Jakeywax31 Jakeywax31 hasn't been around for a couple of days though :(

I was tempted by this very old vice, with stiddy, but managed to restrain myself from buying it, noting the postage to send it across the Atlantic would probably ruin me! :D I did purchase a few other bits and pices though

I like that Tool Man and his friends I think still identify as Teddy Boys. Barry the Ted is styling in his suit and I bet he has shoes to go with it. Cool guys there.
There's a whole bunch of them Kurt, Tool Man is one of the youngsters! :D Here's Barry, (now in his 80's), as a young feller :D

That's good to know Dwight. Great Wostie and wind down to your day.
Thanks Bob. Another good Krakauer book is "UNDER THE BANNER OF HEAVEN", a real in-depth exposition on the Mormon church.
