I was in bed by 9.45pm David! :D Tool Man has some nice vices, and they are regularly over a hundred years old, but that one is pretty ancient. I'd have had it, but I have too many as it is! :D Shipping is unbelievable isn't it? :eek: Here, it has doubled again since Covid, I doubt the Royal Mail will exist in 10 years, because businesses use courier firms, which are a bit cheaper :rolleyes:

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is doing well, and getting ready for the weekend. Great to see Paul Jakeywax31 Jakeywax31 reunited with his family, and I'm glad you Texans are coping with the heat ;) I'm meeting my mate Wolfie, for coffee, at Charlie's in about an hour, and then I have a few things to do in town, and hoping I can get some lunch while I'm there :) Carrying my Hartshead Barlow :) Have a great Friday Guardians :thumbsup:

Good morning Guardians. Yesterday I went to play golf at Glen Dornach near North Myrtle Beach. So so day on the links but man 'o man what a beautiful course. Just made me feel good to be alive. This morning I was greeting by a very smokey morning. So much so that my eyes started burning. Turns out that our local town decided to do a "controlled burn" on some game land. Got out of control and has turned into a wild fire. Now everyone is getting pelted with ash and air quality is so poor that we are all to remain indoors for the next few days. Geez Louise! I'll be pocketing my HHB today but first I'll give it some time with the strop. Photo of my St Andrews Golf cap that I bought while visiting the Old Course.IMG_3744.JPG

I hope everyone is having a good day :) The weather is about as good as it gets here in Yorkshire, and hopefully it's going to hang in for the weekend :) I enjoyed having coffee and croissants, with Wolfie, at Charlie's, before he went off to his boxing training. I had to go into town, so after getting my jobs done, had an early lunch at the Tunisian stall in the market. I had to pick up at a parcel on the way home, so had a lemonade on the pavement outside Charlie's, before walking back up the hill :thumbsup:
