You can never be too safe when mowing that lawn.I'll look at the rawhide section. I have a woodchuck and a throwing knife. {I still can't believe Michigan has a law against hunting with spears. That's really a problem?]
Though it isn't hunting, if something comes at you while you happen to be carrying a spear while mowing the lawn.
I've read that book so many times, I can remember the buckskin and rawhide sections quite clearly!I'll look at the rawhide section. I have a woodchuck and a throwing knife. {I still can't believe Michigan has a law against hunting with spears. That's really a problem?]

I think you never outgrow the urge to make your own knife, no matter how inexpensive it is to buy a better one.I've read that book so many times, I can remember the buckskin and rawhide sections quite clearly!I remember starting to make a knife from a file, but as a 7-year old, with no power tools, I never got beyond hacksawing the file in half!

Hope you stayed dry, Jack. It's been raining all day here, and, apart from my lunch, it was pretty miserable in town, so I picked up some shopping, and headed back home

Lookin' very dapper Jack. What's with the two watches...or is one a wrist compass?![]()
My 2020 cut

I've never tasted it Rachel, I was in my early 30's by the time it was on sale over here, so I missed it! Thankfully!I do have some happy memories of Thunderbird
When I was a kid though, most youngsters got hammered for the first time on hard cider (all cider is 'hard' here)

Happy days![]()
Looking good Ken![]()
I recommended Jon Krakauer's book Into Thin Air a few days ago, and came across this recording of a talk he gave. It's quite fascinating, but sadly the recording ends prematurely![]()
Thanks Bob, don't go breaking too many hearts my friend![]()

That doesn't look so terrible, but if I were you, and didn't like it, I'd go buy a trimmer and just give myself a buzzcut. In 2020, when the salons were closed, I learned how to cut my own hair. It only had to look good from the front for zoom meetings, after all. Now I save $35 each time I trim my own hair. I should do it daily and I'll be rich!
Good ole Mad Dog 20/20 !
Here's an older picture Wee Staggy. I can't eat like this anymore (a week's worth of my new sodium budget) but I can still carry the Lambsfoot.

Good afternoon Guardians. Had a great day out on the links and managed to stay fairly dry though we had some stray showers.HHB is now in my pocket as I do not carry it when playing golf. Too great a risk of losing it.

You must be busy Paul, I hope that you still have a few more days off before you go back to work, and that your family are settling inFirst day back home. Threw the green jigged bone in the pocket and have been going 100mph all day. Good to have the family together again. Hope everyone is having a great day.

I like it Todd! Looks like a top smoke.Since there was so much talk about haircuts and barbers, I figured this cigar would be the perfect choice this morning…a H. Upmann barber pole.
Sorry Pete…I couldn’t resist!View attachment 2224688
My wife cut my hair all through 2020. She got pretty good at it!That doesn't look so terrible, but if I were you, and didn't like it, I'd go buy a trimmer and just give myself a buzzcut.
