Love yer black lamb!
Good morning Guardians, I've just spent a frustrating hour, dealing with one of the big river company's 'customer assistants', after they overcharged me for somethingI'll try to remember not to start my day like that again!
I hope everyone is doing OK, and that your day got off to a better start!
My back is still hurting, but I'm going to have to get out today, as I need some essentials. Got my Hartshead Barlow in my pocket, and I mean to give it a strop later
Have a good day Guardians

Beauty !Will get the coffee brewing and sit by the garden early on...heat wave is coming. Fortunately, not a southwest heatwave!View attachment 2248272
Like your lamb, a classic Jer.I seem to have inherited my maternal gramma's fondness for little pitchers.

This one was made in England, which I think doesn't happen much these days, and it was $5. Got it at the same shop as the Louisville Slugger blue mug.
Looks good Leon, a sausage sandwich on the hoof!![]()
Great to see you here Dylan, your Rhidian Lamb is gorgeous![]()
Looks like a great evening Vince![]()

I could have done with a Big 'Un to bisect the 'doorstep' I've just eaten!
Thank you Steve, I might try some beer therapy this eveningI hope your back starts to get better soon
Nice find Jer, I only have a couple, and as with toast-racks and decanters, I don't use them very often, but I am glad to own a hallmark of civilization!I seem to have inherited my maternal gramma's fondness for little pitchers.

The last time I was at the A. Wright factory, a Brother AX10 typewriter was the most advanced commuinications equipment they had! That's a blast from the past
Thanks much. I must carry my HHB more often, it is a classic Jack. Thanks Bob, I don't think it's done me any harmSitting in my office chair is probably the worst thing for it (I've just splashed out on a new one)
Hope you're having a lovely day my friendGorgeous Lambsfoot

I called in at Charlie's for coffee. They have a new girl there now, who only speaks English, imagine that! After chatting to Charlie, and his dad, who is on an extended trip over from Sicily, and drinking my coffee, I headed into town. I had deliberately foregone a croissant, as I wanted to have lunch at the Tunisian place

The outdoor market was dead as a door-nail, so I didn't tarry long, and headed off to buy bread, and a few other things, and make a deposit at the bank. I bought yet another pair of shoes - as only have about a 20% success rate of getting a comfortable pairI don't have more shoes than Imelda Marcos, but it's probably close!
I've been busy this afternoon, and lunch was quite filling, so I've just had a toasted cheese and salami sandwich, which should keep me going

I better start ripping up pieces of paper for the giveaway draw at 6pm Yorkshire timeGood luck to those who have entered

You're right Vince, cool pic buddy
Thanks, Jack. Was alluding to Bing Crosby, who in old Minute Maid orange juice commercials intoned: "A day without orange juice...."You're right Vince, cool pic buddy![]()

Can you please read this SidWho besides Michael Mays makes premium Lambsfoot knives in the ~80£ or ~$100USD range? They also need to ship to the USA for a reasonable rate (not free but, not $100 either).
Do any of them use a modern Stainless Steel? Not especially looking for the latest and greatest PM or wonder stainless steel but, a good general-purpose stainless steel?
The A W Wright model I got from Bernal Cutlery in the USA was super rough, stiff, and gritty. For $46 plus shipping and sales tax, not a good buy.Unfortunately, this makes the ~$110 Michael Mays knife cost me ~$160.
I do not want to make that mistake again.![]()
