Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Not doing very good this morning am I?

Lambsfoot came with me to the garden last night and we finally have a few ripe cherry maters! I like to wrap them in basil leaves with a little slice of whatever random hot peppers are growing out there. Natalie has a mix of colorful little peppers growing. Some sweeter and some will put a hurtin on you!

It's looking like a few days and we will have a couple million more delicious little tomatoes.

Sofie wanted to try but she never actually eats the fruits and veggies. She just gets upset when I'm eating and she's not!

I'm looking at doing some Hydroponic tomatoes myself. Probably won't see a Michael May Lambsfoot in time to slice them in half at the garden but, maybe this Winter if things work out!!!

Just what I need during Winter, some tasty little tomatoes with a pinch of salt or some basil to make Winter something to look forward to with no more green gourds imported from South America pretending to be tomatoes and unduly wearing on a nice knife!

Even the best of us have only so much brain space.
Lately I'm trying not to waste mine worrying about not remembering things that never were important. Like why do I have two 4-cup drip coffee machines, and why does the one I can't have used much look so used?

Sounds like you're going to have a great harvest

They're a pest here, though natives. And they're in the suburbs.
But kill Bambi? No! Capture and relocate them at unimaginable expense, never mind that the woods can't support them in these numbers either.
Or bait them with contraceptives that percolate into the drinking water.

I remember a sense of awe the first time a space ship actually landed like a space ship instead of a projectile.
[Well, it landed like a vehicle instead of a projectile. We're still not settling them gently on their butane butts like proper space ships.]

There's a stately home up the road from me, with a herd of deer. There's a new herd every year, but they have signs up claiming they don't cull any of them. Must be a lot of deer go to live on a farm with an old lady every year!

Thanks Vince, yeah, he's a right poser! I've lost count of what he ate today, but by early afternoon, he had consumed a cheeseburger, 2 pork pies, several chicken goujons, some chips, 2 pieces of cake, and his sandwiches!

One photo he DIDN'T pose for is this one from last week, which Nobber Al took! I asked him how he managed to take it, and he said he sneaked right up to him, and took it with his phone camera!

I forgot to include my Lambsfoot content in my market post! I blame Mike mbkr !

I am off out on another pub crawl with Nobber Al tomorrow, but before that I'm meeting my mate Wolfie in the morning, and before that, ie in less than an hour, I'm meeting another pal, Matt, for 2 or 3 pints in our local I'm slipping my AC in my pocket, where it hasn't been for quite a while. It's just so sad. When you see people do ALL their shopping at a supermarket and shopping centre, they are just like robots. All walking around stressed out with no one smiling.

Comando and War Picture Library were my favorites when I was a kid !

Me too, could not get enough of them. Years ago they published a 2 volume collection in book form, am i regretting not buying a set. They would be fantastic to pick up and just read a story from when you just feel like relaxing.
