Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

This would help your 🍻 crawl Jack. Enjoy.View attachment 2258818
Definitely Bob! :D I was on a steam train, which serves beer hand-pumped from the cask, a few years ago. We bought day tickets, intending to get off the train at various points, but it was raining outside, and the beer was good, so we just stayed on the train all afternoon :D

Good day Guardians!

I'm new to the club, this is my first lambsfoot knife, fresh out of the box. Not easy to find in France (unsurprisingly), so I tested the waters of ordering through a British website, they only had this model in stock. For less than 20 bucks it's a good fit & finish, firm spring action (not a nailbreaker this one, but the barlow I ordered with, is much harder), super thin with a fine edge.

Welcome to the Porch Mr.Steel.
I find that model very useful out of doors. It stands up to adverse weather very well.

😅 sounds like a grand time.
Definitely! 😁 I love riding on old steam trains 🙂 That line is quite close to where I live, might have to arrange another trip soon 😉 It appears in lots of movies 👍

Welcome to the Guardians! 🙂 I hope you will come to love the Lambsfoot pattern like the rest of us here. That's a nice acquisition, and a fine photo 😎 Please read post number 1 on page 1 of this thread, and don't miss the Guardian's World Map! 😁👍

I don't have a bucket list( I've filled it already 😁), but one day wish to travel on the transcanadian railroad.

Fantastic Bob! 😎 I recall seeing a documentary, about 20 years ago, about a young English girl was travelling across Canada, and then down into the US 'riding the rails' like a hobo. It looked like a lot of fun, for a youngster! 😁👍

Good morning Guardians. Been in France for the last two weeks. Got home and tested positive for Covid. Feel crappy and meeting with the Dr. Wish me luck.
Sorry to hear Bill and welcome back. I hope it did not curtail your trip in anyway.

This is a bit big to throw in the front pocket and gets lost in the side pocket. Typically i'd add a lanyard for the side pocket to dig the knife out easily but there isn't a way to do that here without major surgery.

I think this was a pretty good solution. Quick and freehand but if it works well I'll make a better one. Now it can be dropped right into the side pocket and removed easily.

Another week of pears, oranges and tomatoes and this blade will be seasoned up nicely! Lucky draw with the fruit this week, it's very good!

Have a good day everyone.

Congrats and welcome !

I'm in Charlie's having a pre-beer coffee 😉👍

Have fun Jack but not too much ! 😉

From my wife's " victory" garden. It's a victory that the plants survived.😃

Lovely bone on that one !
