Nearly 10.00 pm, and I have only just knocked off I'm having a beer, but don't think I have the energy to take a pic! Weather forecast is poor for tomorrow here - lots of rain - so I'm planning to visit the National Railway Museum in York again. Hope everyone has a great weekend I'm going to carry my Ashley's Choice again

Out of the house at 6:15 today, fasting for some routine tests at the Vancouver General Hospital. Threw cheese, crackers, nuts and apples in my pack, and I have been carrying two Stags around today, outnumbering Old Boiley. Tough choices all day long!!
(I don't usually carry three knives, but the cold, damp weather has created an excess of pockets these days!!)

Some turquoise to bolster my health protection (you gotta watch these Hospitals!!), and Bob's your Uncle!!

That's a nice composition, the stag on both those Lambsfoot knives has some nice colour to it I like the extra pockets the colder weather brings

LOL! Thanks PJ, they have some great engines there, but it's kind of hard to take pics on account of the number of visitors standing in front of them, and the halls are also dimly lit (half my pics were out of focus). I'm sure there'll be some much better ones on their website (free admission if anyone is ever over here)

So cool. I love railroad museums. I'm going to have to go to the one in Old Sacramento again, it's always a fun and relaxing day. Keep the pictures of your adventures coming Jack, we all enjoy them.

Interesting Jack! I worked for the railroad as a brakeman for a few years. That Mallard engine is sweet.
The package you sent me three weeks ago shows to have left Chicago and returned to the UK. Who knows why... Says it is being prepared for shipping out of Gatwin? Just letting you know. Should qualify for frequent flyer miles shortly.

Today I'm carrying my hardest ebony worker of the bunch. I sanded the edges of the scales down a wee bit, to give it a more contoured feel in hand.

I love it! It is just a touch shorter than my 15 but the extra thickness makes it fit perfectly in hand. The lambsfoot angle is my favorite and the blade has been easy to sharpen. I’ve worked out the muck from the factory and the action is smooth now. It is a perfect EDC and looks much fancier than its price tag.

That's great! I always liked your 15s as well, but for me, I love the ole time ruggedness of the Sheffield knives. Somehow they remind me of coming home to my roots in the country.
