Looks like it's a tight fit but hard to tell for sure. Hope your train ride was comfortable.
Looks like you've been busy BillGood morning Guardians. Out early for my stroll and then back home digging some Black Elephant Ears for my friend Rob. These things are very invasive and spread to everywhere. I was happy to thin them out a bit. Decided afterwards to carry my HHB.

Probably just the perspective, as my phone-camera was low, and I am right at the back of the carriage. There were plenty of empty seats including table seats. However, we've just pulled into York, and a lot of people are getting onLooks like it's a tight fit but hard to tell for sure. Hope your train ride was comfortable.
Cool compass with Old Toffee Wings Jer
I had to get that compass because it's exactly like my big brother's BSA compass, which of course I thought was cooler than mine. (And this was $2.50, and it works fine except it has to be face down for the needle-clamp to engage).Cool compass with Old Toffee Wings Jer
My train got back in Leeds an hour late. What a trip! Four rain-sodden days in Whitby, sleeping in a shoe-box, cost me more than flying to Bulgaria for a week, and staying all-inclusive in a 4 star hotel, and with significantly more travel problems. I've just unpacked, made a cup of tea, and thought I'd make a start on editing my pics, only to find that the mouse on my PC is no longer taking left-click commands! I remember now that I had a problem on Thursday morning. I'll have to go into town tomorrow to get a new one![]()
Thanks a lot Steve, nice to have a hot bath, and sit on my sofa againGlad your home safe and sound Jack !

Definitely JerI had to get that compass because it's exactly like my big brother's BSA compass, which of course I thought was cooler than mine. (And this was $2.50, and it works fine except it has to be face down for the needle-clamp to engage).
Strangely, I can't find my BSA compass, which was arguably better, with its clear, liquid-filled capsule with lines, in a rotating bezel.
This is a cool compass, though, I think. Too bad about the rubber wristband.

Hope you had a great time Jeremy.Hope everyone had a good weekend. Went camping the weekend before for my wife’s birthday out at the Outer Banks. Our campsite was literally a stones throw from the beach. It was a great time. Now back to being a responsible (as possible anyway) adult.
