Thank you very much Jack . As you know , I seldom post on your thread but try to follow it . I have many Portraits in my attic . What would you like to see my friend ????? Love that Heartshead and I would like to find a walking stick like that one in your photo . There are people out there with some better skills than I do so I usually watch for walking sticks and or canes that are a little unique when we go antiquing .

It's always a treat when you call in my friend :) I'll settle for the portrait of you from 1917 Harry! :D Thank you very much :) Those sticks are like Shepherd's Crooks, but fancier, and known as Market Sticks, because the farmers would save them for when they were swanking around in front of their friends at the market ;) They change hands for big money!
I’m getting this fine morning off to a good start with a big cup of coffee. Hope your Wednesday is a good one.

Nice edge, Jer! RALF has been stellar at work lately.

It's always good to see RALF :)
Last day of work this week. Looking forward to three days off. Just off stomping around in the woods scouting good huntin spots. Got Calamity in the pocket today.

I will drink to that fine horn later Dwight. 👌Had several ( too many ) beers on the golf course!!

Tool Man rang me a couple of days ago, and was saying that he only took £30 at the market last Thursday, which probably means a £40 or £50 loss, labour aside :( Have to see how it goes tomorrow, because he won't be able to ride out many more days like that. His stall didn't look bad last week either  Thought I'd carry Big Rose ;)

Hope things pick up. We need all small independent operators to survive, the large Corporates will completely dominate otherwise, which is their plan.
English oak in my pocket today
I love that Oak, has so much character. That would be off the charts if a well known 3 letter company had a run with those covers.
but they got me off to a good start with their factory edge.
Jer, was the first thing i noticed when i saw your post. That is a good working edge on a simple working knife. 👌
