Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Hope things pick up. We need all small independent operators to survive, the large Corporates will completely dominate otherwise, which is their plan.
They seem hell-bent on destroying the local markets here, with many local towns, having already lost them. When I was a kid, there were coach trips to Leeds Market from other parts of the country. Now, it's barely worth getting on the bus to town
Slipping down page one. o_O;)
Thanks for your vigilance Leon :)
Cool pic Dwight
Evening Guardians! Jack hope you and Big Rose have a good time at the market tomorrow.

LOL! :D That's some great-looking stag Daniel :)

Good morning Guardians, I was up 2 hours earlier than I needed today, so I thought I'd call in, before heading off to the market. I've managed to catch up with a good chunk of the work I missed while away in Whitby. The weather forecast looks OK for today, it's still cool now, but the sun is due to come out later. Not that will neccesarily make any difference to trade in the market, but it makes standing more pleasant. I felt sorry for the traders, when I passed through on Monday, and the rain was bouncing down  Have a good day Guardians

Good morning everyone....a damp day at the shore.

Lovely stag on Mr.CB !

Very sad, but seems to be a World Wide issue. 😞😞😞😢😢😢
I reckon so Leon :( There was a fantastic market in Bialystok in Eastern Poland, when I was there about 18 years ago. A couple of years later, they bulldozed it, to make way for a branch of McDonalds, and a new mall :(

Only two things I hate: The Way Things Are, and Change.

Here's a little history of NYC's Essex Street Market. You can see how every bit of character has been systematically scrubbed away. The last time I saw it was a few years ago and it was hardly as vibrant as the website makes it look.

If America never contributes anything else to world culture, there'll always be McDonald's thumb.gif

That looks like it went from something I could afford, to something I can't...:(

The Crossville, Tennessee flea market is still fun, although its not as big as it once was. The last time I was in Tennessee, I bought a set of sheets and some socks there. Flowers for gravesites the time before. In my mind, its the American version of the Leeds Market :)
