Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Beautiful Dwight, such great lines, would love to hear more about that one :) Your Damascus Lamb is beautiful too of course! :D
I was a mechanic in the USA, and when I immigrated to Canada, I brought my tools, but wrenches don't have the appeal of hammers, which can retain hand wear and warmth in the wood!!!
They really don't do they Charlie?! :D It would be nice to see some of your silver work my friend :)

Looking good Jer  :)

I'm out of beer, so I'm drinking Irish :D Started off with regular Bushmills, but I just went to look for something else, and spotted this Bushmills malt I've not had in a while, been completely re-packaged, the bottle was a bit of a surprise when I pulled it out of the tube! :D Very smooth :)

I have to be careful not to drink too much of it, as I'm meeting Nobber Al for a pub crawl tomorrow ;) We're going to head to the Leeds suburb of Headingley, a traditionally affluent area, which now hosts a large student population. We wouldn't normally drink there, but since most of the students should be away, we're going to risk an incursion. Who Dares Wins, and all that! :D ;)

There was a fantastic market in Bialystok in Eastern Poland, when I was there about 18 years ago. A couple of years later, they bulldozed it, to make way for a branch of McDonalds, and a new mall :(
One of the big 3 Corporates that have helped ruin whole countries and cultures. McDonalds, KFC and Domino pizza's. I may have told you before, i have a friend who had a very successful business in Thailand and she was loved and welcomed by the locals. She respected their cultures and way of life. She has now returned, McDonalds has arrived there and with it all the yobs, Australians at their finest, we destroyed Bali, and Manilla, Thailand is next, but across the world and particularly Asia, when one of the big 3 arrive so does all the problems. My Brother In Law is Chinese and still has family in Honk Kong, he has been a practicing Doctor here for 50 years, the biggest rise in disease in China over the last 20 years, Obesity and diabetes. Guess who arrived in China roughly 20 years ago, go on have a guess, there are 3 of them. The Chinese are completely addicted to KFC apparently, they literally buy a Large bucket of fried chicken for one or two people. My rant for the day my friend.

Haven't seen the Bushmill's single malt. I'll have to keep an eye out for it. I will say between the regular Bushmill's and regular Jameson's, I slightly preferred Jameson's.

So...regarding McDonald's, I'm going to put you down as "undecided" :p

I first had the single malt in the late 1980's, which I think was when they first launched it. It's been a couple of years since I last had it though. I think I prefer Jameson's, slightly, over Bushmills too. I can pick them up here for the price of the cheapest Scotch, and they are much better to drink. I do occasionally allow myself a little ice in them though

Thanks David, nice to see your lovely-looking Albers again :)
Thanks buddy!
Good morning Guardians, I was up 2 hours earlier than I needed today, so I thought I'd call in, before heading off to the market. I've managed to catch up with a good chunk of the work I missed while away in Whitby. The weather forecast looks OK for today, it's still cool now, but the sun is due to come out later. Not that will neccesarily make any difference to trade in the market, but it makes standing more pleasant. I felt sorry for the traders, when I passed through on Monday, and the rain was bouncing down  Have a good day Guardians

Cool pic!

Exactly, still making up my mind. 🤣 🤣 🤣
I've never eaten at McDonald's. I was in my mid 20's when they first opened a branch in Sheffield. It looked like a pretty rotten place to eat to me, but the clincher was this: I don't like mustard. I'll put up with it, but I don't enjoy it. But when McDonald's first opened here, the burgers came with a squirt of ketchup, and a squirt of mustard, no variation allowed. So, I thought, if that's how they're going to treat their customers, they can shove their (then, quite expensive) burgers, and I've not seen anything to change my opinion since, Now, they're very downmarket here, with people eating cheap junk food, with drug-deals going on, fights breaking out, and underpaid security staff on the doors. I wouldn't be caught dead eating in MacDonald's, and off-hand, I can't think of anyone I know who would eat there, even Tool Man!

I hear they're good (the closest one is approx 130 miles away. I had to look it up), but they don't have the reach of McDonald's. Mac's are everywhere 🌎
😊
Wendys is coming for them! Plan on opening 200 in Australia, over the next 10 years.
I don't have anything against fast food, I don't have it often but I like my personal choice options,
Jack Black Jack Black mate this will bring a tear to your eye. 1 of the councils in the state of Victoria wants to ban deep friers at sporting events for hot chips they were looking at air fried chip only & no deep frying😢😢

air fried chip only & no deep frying
That's not a fry then (or chip) !!! It's a baked potato strip!

My kid bought one of those air friers and I refuse to use it out of principle. If I'm frying something, I already know it's gonna be greasy and unhealthy. That's the point.

What's next?? Air fried scotch eggs? Air fried funnel cakes??

The state of the world these days..... Psh ...

BTW, wendys burgers are way better than Mac D's. Not the fries, though. They're not very good.

That is another Word Wide trend. The amount of assaults, robberies and car thefts at McDonalds over here is astonishing. Good to know it is not just my imagination.. Now i have to definitely get off my soap box. ;):):):)

Some years ago, Mickey-D's used to put beef fat in the frying oil! Those Fries were good!!
But it left Vegetarians with no options, so the protests got rid of the fat!!!
Must be over 10 years that the fries became mediocre!! And our "downtown" MacDonalds became a place for a lot of our marginal bretheren - Police calls every day!!
I haven't gone in 8 - 9 years!! Maybe it's the lack of fat!!! o_O:p

I tried making a ring with Gold!! My work was not as well done, but I kept that one also, because I like the Stone!!
Turquoise is often collected by the mine from which it comes!! This ring and necklace are both from the Royston Mine in Nevada!! One of the oldest Turquoise mines!!
