Carnival weekend is approaching here, and folks are getting excited. Not unusually, weather will be a factor, and the forecast isn't great this

The young folks will have fun, rain or shine, but it'll be a lot nicer if the sun comes out

I have 3 bottles of Mount Gay from Barbados in stock, and a couple of bottles of Bacardi, but I will definitely pick up some Wray and Nephew

You have very good taste in rum. All I drank during my time on racing yachts was Mount Gay.

Thank you I really like Mount Gay Bob, though I only discovered it a few years ago Racing yachts sounds exciting!

This is a long-standing favourite, though it's a sipper

Edit - I started drinking dark rum when I was young, and also Bacardi, when I was a teenager. I find Bacardi a little lacking in taste these days though, and in fact I only have it in, is that I bought a couple of litres on the plane, when coming back from the Canaries last Xmas
