Nice flock!
The Chieftain should keep Tool Man and the Teds lined out tomorrow.Market day tomorrow, so I'll be seeing Nobber Al, and Ex Para Steve, again, and Tool Man, and Boring Ray, of course. I spoke to Tool Man on the phone earlier today, and he told me that he took £30, for the second week in a row, last Thursday. Hopefully, it'll be better tomorrow, but I reminded him that, apart from the laughs and the cake, there are other benefits to standing. He gets the opportunity to buy tools people bring, and to give out his business card, which has led to a lot of house and garage clearances. Wolfie's eldest lad is guitar-mad, so I sent him a photo of Musical Andy's stall, and told him if he wanted to come down, I'd buy him his dinner in the market. No doubt there'll be the usual range of characters passing through![]()

What an incredible library!Civilized countries should have libraries like that
I spent a lot of time in libraries, for much of my life, but funding has been cut to the bone for decades here. If you can find one, they are small, pokey adjuncts to council buildings, and have very limited stock. Sheffield City Council began closing branch libraries in the 1980's, and now they are selling off the central lending library

Wow...that looks like utopia for a reader. Enjoy the way you expose your children to so many different experiences.( from a retired teacher).

They are fascinating machines Barrett, I have had quite a few over the yearsThanks, Jack. No, I’ve just always wanted a typewriter to mess around with. The most work it’s done was addressing last year’s Christmas cards.![]()
That's great to hear Barrett, is it the same in other states?Yeah, I was really impressed with the library. We’re fortunate to have a nice library system here. Lots of branches (big and small), and you can return books to any of them, so we won’t have to go back downtown to return all the books the girls checked out.
One for every letter of the alphabet!![]()
Hope you had a great time BillGood morning Guardians. Off the the links this morning. Beautiful day ahead. I'll have my HHB in the pocket later on today.
