Dave, I bought my Nevr-Dull about 3 years ago, long before you recommended it here! So, thanks for your generous reimbursement offer, but you had nothing to do with my purchasing and using the product.oh-oh I was referring to removing the sticky tape residue and tarnish.I haven't found anything that will remove rust spots.
So sorry Gary, please send me a PayPal request for payment and I will make it right.

(Unless you actually own the company, in which case we should perhaps continue the discussion as a "Conversation".)

As some of you who have been around the forum for a while may remember, before my A. Wright buffalo horn lambsfoot took up residence in my RFP, my most frequently carried and used pocket knife was a Schrade USA 34OT. It has a couple of modifications: the spey blade was reshaped into a pen blade for whittling and the sheepsfoot blade got what I called at the time "a bit of a Wharncliffe treatment". The motivation for the latter was to have a more streamlined feel in hand when using the other blades and I picked the new nose angle based on what I imagined might be ideal for three-cut triangular chip cuts when whittling. I ended up really liking that shape both for whittling and for everyday use, particularly when dealing with clam shell packaging.
Those mods were made in May 2016. It was another month or so before I purchased my first lambsfoot after @r8shell andJack Black both posted beautifully photographed examples in the totin' thread on the same day. I really hadn't paid much attention to the pattern before that, but those photos grabbed me.
I'm carrying the 34OT today. I've known its modified sheepsfoot blade ended up being similar to a lambsfoot, but I'm not sure whether I've every directly compared them. Check this out:

It lacks the taper of a proper lambsfoot, for certain, but the nose angle is strikingly similar:

I guess I was looking for a lambsfoot before I knew I was looking for a lambsfoot.![]()

Great to see you Dylan, but sorry to hear about those long hoursMy week started off OK, but the past couple of days have been hard, yesterday in particular (when I was still nowhere near finishing this time yesterday (8.15pm here), after a 6.30am start. Thank you very much my friend, and I'm glad you're liking your AC so much
That's a great pic of it
I hope that you, and all our Guardians, have a fantastic weekend

Pàdruig great to see you here! Sorry to hear that you've been so slammed with work lately. 16 hour days are not sustainable by any stretch of the imagination, so I'm glad that the worst is behind you.
Welcome back, Dylan!Sounds like you deserve a vacation, whether or not one is actually forthcoming! Fetching foto of your stag lambsfoot.
I've taken to carrying a different lambsfoot each week as a separate category in my rotation schedule, and whatever the knife is (Black Jack, Cracker Jack, Lam Jack, Man Jack, or Union Jack), I proudly carry it in the red leather pocket slip you crafted for the 2017 horn Guardians Lambsfoots.

Thank you for the warm words, fellas. I am happy to report that work is starting to settle down a bit and I am even going on a mini vacation towards the end of this week. Leavenworth, Washington. Where they have a rather excellent Oktoberfest festival. Plenty of fine beer, fine food, and such are in my very near future.
Swapped out Stag for Ebony today.

First I must confess I've not given this thread the attention it deserves. Some great knives pictured here with as equally great post. So to the oint today I have started what I hope is a daily ritual of visiting this thread.
Here is the LambsfootJack Black sent me last Saturday. I think it's beautiful and it took a wickedly sharp edge.
