Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Ace shot of Rose Beast Jer

Word (as I think the yoot say)! I can't say I was their most regular customer, but I'd been eating there, or getting deliveries, for 21 years. I can't blame the owner for retiring, but it's a shame the business closed 😢 I don't know of another pizza place that comes close :( I guess I'm going to have to do some exploring, but at the moment, (and it's rare I order takeaway), if I want a pizza, I have absolutely no idea where to start :thumbsup:

Thanks David, great pic of Ethan

That's the way to do it Mitch :)

Thanks Jeff

Thanks for the link Barrett, that's an interesting article  Sorry for my fascination with the presentation, but did the bread originally serve as a plate, to soak up the chicken juices, do you eat it, or just some of it maybe?

LOL! :D I enjoyed watching the film again. The DVD menu was kind of old fashioned, but it did have a documentary about making the movie, which looked like it had been put together to go with the second film. I hadn't realised that they were a genuine band, which pre-dated the movie. I used to like the first album as driving music :D

Fantastic  There are quite a few old theatres, and cinemas, in Leeds, and the surrounding area (though sadly, so many will have been demolished). The City Varieties was an old music hall, the interior is beautiful, but like a lot of these old places, I find the seats painfully small! :D Hyde Park Picture House has recently been refurbished (the Wiki page is out of date), and I've been told the seats are better, so I'll have to go over there at some point

Such a shame mate, and sadly not uncommon, in my experience :(

That looks like another amazing venue  I hope you can go one day :)

It's crazy! 🤷‍♂️ :D

:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

A Lambsfoot loves to work! :) Not often I can't find a use for a shoe box! :D With my size feet, I can fit plenty in them! 🤣 Got a couple of nice, sturdy Redback ones ;)

Good morning Guardians, How we all doing? :) Very Autumnal here, the sort of day when you want to pull your collar up, and your cap down. I might even have to bypass a flanno, and go straight for a Swanni! :D I'm hoping to get out at some point, but I have some work to do first, so I better get my lazy behind in gear 🫣 Have a good week Guardians :) Starting mine with some Waboom! :D

Very cool picture of that wonderful lamb, Jack. It's beginning to get cool here as well. Locals would call me a wimp 🤣 😂. Stay warm buddy!!!

Making the most of yesterday's sun.
Nice photo, Jer.
Coolest rosewood lamb around. Have a great day, John.
Heartbreaking loss yesterday, but the fact is…our offense stinks right now. Starting to feel like old times. 🤣👍View attachment 2365255
Love the ebony lamb, Todd. At least your team has won a championship recently. My Cowboys have been in a minor slump since 1996.
Good morning lambsters!
Nice rainbow colors on the copper.View attachment 2365276
Very nice patina on the copper, Bob. Hope the recovery is going well today.

Cool rainy day here in western Wisconsin. Work is starting to slow down as soldiers here do not train as much during the fall/winter season. I was blessed to shoot a wonderful 10 point Buck last week with my bow, so I am twitlling my thumbs hunting wise until gun deer season. I am carrying my wonderful K'roo lamb today. Hope everyone is having a great day so far.

Thanks a lot pal :) The word they use here in Yorkshire is 'nesh', (as in 'Are you a bit nesh?' or 'Stop being so nesh!'), which is an Old Norse word, still in daily use :D

Nesh Vikings! 🤣

Wow Paul, incredible! Wonderful Lamb too my friend

Thanks Jack.
This is going to be a problem for some to answer. I went with old because the new models have not earned the respect of time. IMHO
I wasn't sure if you were answering my question, or just posting a stellar old Lamb Bob, but the vintage models definitely have something special about them

I have a question for everyone. If you could have ANY Lambsfoot, which would you choose
It would have to be new so i'd actually use it. Buying an antique one would only add another knife to the shelf. Sounds weird but I tear stuff up, why do it to a nice old knife that survived this long.

I'm a simple dude.... it would be really nice to get ahold of a premium knife from Wrights. One they actually spent time on and didn't just bang out as piecework. Awesome/premium covers, perfect fit and finish, filework, swedge and just take some extra time to really make it nice.

I love their knives and I'm at 75%/25% good to "meh" ratio. I have no valid complaints, would and will get more of them, but it would be awesome if they would make a batch of really nice ones.

Here is soupy today, which I'm perfectly happy with. Why stray from a good thing.

I really like the patina on copper, yours is looking great Bob. 😎👍

Yeah, we separate the championships by a few decades or so…we are in a “rebuild” until around 2040! 🤣

That's exactly what I tried to get them to do with my SFOs Rick :) I was their biggest customer, and I still couldn't get them to do as they promised :( No point taking ideas to that firm, when they just sell you any old junk, and steal your ideas
I think about five years.
I really should name my photos.

I number mine, but I take a lot :D
