Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thanks a lot pal :) The word they use here in Yorkshire is 'nesh', (as in 'Are you a bit nesh?' or 'Stop being so nesh!'), which is an Old Norse word, still in daily use :D

Nesh Vikings! 🤣
🤣 😂
Wow Paul, incredible! Wonderful Lamb too my friend
Thank you, Jack.
Hey Guardians, I have a question for everyone. If you could have ANY Lambsfoot, which would you choose? I'm going to claim George Mallory's! :D
Tough one 🤔.
Older... Has to be an old Sheffield with full blade in stag or a nice creamy horn. Don't care who made it as long as it was made in Sheffield.
Modern....Without a doubt it would be one of your horn lambs that you had made.
Beautiful lamb Paul, congratulations on the Buck. 😎👍
Thank you. Nothing like a successful hunt. I'll make sure to bring some of the jalepeno summer sausage to the badger show.

I'm flattered Paul :)

That's exactly what I tried to get them to do with my SFOs Rick :) I was their biggest customer, and I still couldn't get them to do as they promised :( No point taking ideas to that firm, when they just sell you any old junk, and steal your ideas

I number mine, but I take a lot :D
Yeah... that doesn't sound like a good time, Jack. Shame.

Thanks for the link Barrett, that's an interesting article  Sorry for my fascination with the presentation, but did the bread originally serve as a plate, to soak up the chicken juices, do you eat it, or just some of it maybe?

I think soaking up the excess sauce is the idea. Nashville hot “sauce” is an oil/fat based paste that’s applied to the chicken after frying, and it can be a bit messy. The resulting spicy sauce-soaked bread is a bonus treat. 😉

(as I think the yoot say)

Another fantastic movie that I’ve watched many times. 😁

LOL! :D I enjoyed watching the film again. The DVD menu was kind of old fashioned, but it did have a documentary about making the movie, which looked like it had been put together to go with the second film. I hadn't realised that they were a genuine band, which pre-dated the movie. I used to like the first album as driving music :D

I got really into movies in college and started buying tons of DVDs. I eventually switched to Blu-ray when the technology shifted that way, but at that point I had way too many DVDs to ever think about replacing them, so I still have hundreds of movies on DVD. Some of those older DVD menus and bonus features have not aged well. 😁

When we moved to Minnesota, we had to downsize our living space a bit and didn’t really have room for all the DVD/Blu-rays, so I invested in some thin plastic sleeves that ended up saving a ton of space.

Fantastic  There are quite a few old theatres, and cinemas, in Leeds, and the surrounding area (though sadly, so many will have been demolished). The City Varieties was an old music hall, the interior is beautiful, but like a lot of these old places, I find the seats painfully small! :D Hyde Park Picture House has recently been refurbished (the Wiki page is out of date), and I've been told the seats are better, so I'll have to go over there at some point

I know what you mean about the seats. Several
years ago my parents, my brother and I (none of us small) went to a baseball game at Wrigley Field in Chicago. We were crammed in like sardines, and I ended up tearing a shorts pocket on the armrest of my seat. 🙄

That looks like another amazing venue  I hope you can go one day :)

I hope so, too. And hey, the seats there are like church pews, so no seat-width problems. 😁

Dang, that’s tough. I don’t know that I have an answer. I certainly have some ideas about what I think would make my ideal Lambsfoot (or at least a configuration I’d really like to see made) for carrying and using, but if we’re talking a hypothetical ANY Lambsfoot, I don’t know that I could put my ideal Lambsfoot over something with vintage or with historical significance.

Good afternoon Guardians !

Another beautiful autumn day here, 61° and sunny. The weather is supposed to turn this week, heading into the thirties .

Carrying Gidget today 👍

Well this weather’s been good while it lasted. Guess I’ll finally have to turn on the heat soon.

That Ringed Gidgee really shows off its character in the sun! Looks awesome!

Ace shot of Rose Beast Jer

Word (as I think the yoot say)! I can't say I was their most regular customer, but I'd been eating there, or getting deliveries, for 21 years. I can't blame the owner for retiring, but it's a shame the business closed 😢 I don't know of another pizza place that comes close :( I guess I'm going to have to do some exploring, but at the moment, (and it's rare I order takeaway), if I want a pizza, I have absolutely no idea where to start :thumbsup:

Thanks David, great pic of Ethan

That's the way to do it Mitch :)

Thanks Jeff

Such a shame mate, and sadly not uncommon, in my experience :(

That looks like another amazing venue  I hope you can go one day :)

It's crazy! 🤷‍♂️ :D

:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

A Lambsfoot loves to work! :) Not often I can't find a use for a shoe box! :D With my size feet, I can fit plenty in them! 🤣 Got a couple of nice, sturdy Redback ones ;)

Good morning Guardians, How we all doing? :) Very Autumnal here, the sort of day when you want to pull your collar up, and your cap down. I might even have to bypass a flanno, and go straight for a Swanni! :D I'm hoping to get out at some point, but I have some work to do first, so I better get my lazy behind in gear 🫣 Have a good week Guardians :) Starting mine with some Waboom! :D

Beautiful old theater Jack and I love the camera waboom!

I'm afraid I'm not risking 5 years 'in stir', and an unlimited fine to send it overseas!
Like Vince I think it would be hard to beat your ivory lamb. And Jack if you want to go ahead and mail it I wouldn't worry about it. It's a risk I'm willing to take... 😁 ;)
Steve, Gidget looks mighty nice, but Gidge is not jealous. She loves her twin!

Beautiful image of a striking lamb Jeff.
