Love that stag, Jack. Hope you had a great day.Nice Big 'Un David![]()
Maybe, but I'd be surprised Bob. When the Sheffield name has been added to the tang of knives made in the Far East, in the past several decades, it's generally been at the behest of Sheffield cutlers (even American shysters tend to be slightly more circumspect)The older (19th century and early 20th century) forgeries are usually marked Rodgers, and are generally rather garish, and not standard patterns. TEW have paddled in some very dodgy waters, but their foreign-made knives are generally easy to spot, because of the better fit and finish!
Sheffield has been exporting cheap, low-quality knives, for a long time now, and my guess would be that was one of them
THank you very much Jeff![]()
Good for you MitchYou're right, I remember when my eldest was a baby, looking at the sugar and salt content of rusks. The sugar content of the lowest 'Low Sugar' rusks here was 13%!
I think the salt content was 5%. In both cases, this was greater than standard English biscuits, like Digestives
We decided to make our own rusks

I'm afraid she left me Pete!Says a lot about the firm who bought the practice, my dentist left, her dental nurse left, and the practice manager left!
I'm sure some of the other dentists will have left too
It doesn't bode well for the future, a lot of folks here can't even find a dental practice!
LOL!Great pics Mitch
