Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Nice Big 'Un David :)

Maybe, but I'd be surprised Bob. When the Sheffield name has been added to the tang of knives made in the Far East, in the past several decades, it's generally been at the behest of Sheffield cutlers (even American shysters tend to be slightly more circumspect) The older (19th century and early 20th century) forgeries are usually marked Rodgers, and are generally rather garish, and not standard patterns. TEW have paddled in some very dodgy waters, but their foreign-made knives are generally easy to spot, because of the better fit and finish! Sheffield has been exporting cheap, low-quality knives, for a long time now, and my guess would be that was one of them

THank you very much Jeff :)

Good for you Mitch  You're right, I remember when my eldest was a baby, looking at the sugar and salt content of rusks. The sugar content of the lowest 'Low Sugar' rusks here was 13%! I think the salt content was 5%. In both cases, this was greater than standard English biscuits, like Digestives  We decided to make our own rusks

🤣 🤣

Thanks a lot my friend, very kind of you :)

Wonderful shot of a beautiful knife  :)

I'm afraid she left me Pete!🤣🤣Says a lot about the firm who bought the practice, my dentist left, her dental nurse left, and the practice manager left! I'm sure some of the other dentists will have left too :( It doesn't bode well for the future, a lot of folks here can't even find a dental practice! 😠

LOL! :D Great pics Mitch :)

Glad you have a warm fire, and a cup of something good Todd :)

Seem like a nice bunch where Dave @Horsewright lives ;)

Great to see you living well buddy! :D

🤣

Have fun Vince :) Sheffield Football Club go back to 1857, 12 years after Texas became a state of the USA, I understand 😛🤣

Looks great Mitch  Are folks really that sensitive to the sight of a pocket knife? :(

Good luck Daniel! :D Taken me an hour to catch up this morning! ;)

Fancy phone! :D

Good morning Guardians, just calling to wish everyone a great day, before I run for the hills to escape any forthcoming Texan ire! :D

Got to be Bob Ross. What a legend. Blood lamb for Halloween is very fitting.

Yes he certainly did. 🤠
I will always remember that year as, "The Year the Lamb Guy gave us a Barlow, and the Barlow Guy gave us a Lamb". 😁
Great comments gents. Feel extremely fortunate thanks to Charlie to have been able to get one. As rare as hens teeth as the old saying goes. :) .

Very nice Leon, that is such a rich looking knife. Along with the classic look comes great functionality.👌

Bob you might want to spend some time acclimating with some Flint HIlls cowboys before you head straight into Texas. I'll take you to Abliene, Ellis and Dodge to help. Then you can head down to the trial heads in Texas. Maybe you'll pick up the south central, eastern Kansas drawl which is similar to a Texas drawl but different. That way maybe they wont think your a d**n yankee. 😁 Almost every time I'd go to the east coast people were always asking me if I was from Texas. 😁
Another beauty my friend.
Thank you Paul!
