Nice Big 'Un David :)
It came from the big river in south America Jack,
has to be a knock off. It will take an edge and a beating though.
Maybe, but I'd be surprised Bob. When the Sheffield name has been added to the tang of knives made in the Far East, in the past several decades, it's generally been at the behest of Sheffield cutlers (even American shysters tend to be slightly more circumspect) The older (19th century and early 20th century) forgeries are usually marked Rodgers, and are generally rather garish, and not standard patterns. TEW have paddled in some very dodgy waters, but their foreign-made knives are generally easy to spot, because of the better fit and finish! Sheffield has been exporting cheap, low-quality knives, for a long time now, and my guess would be that was one of them
Jack, the stag on that AC just never gets old; simply as good as it gets!
THank you very much Jeff :)
😀
Yeah for me it's lower salt & reduced fat options. There are a lot of deceptive health foods, like low carb breads, often higher in salt than their own regular breads. I guess the marketers think people only look at the sugars.
Good for you Mitch  You're right, I remember when my eldest was a baby, looking at the sugar and salt content of rusks. The sugar content of the lowest 'Low Sugar' rusks here was 13%! I think the salt content was 5%. In both cases, this was greater than standard English biscuits, like Digestives  We decided to make our own rusks
From what I've heard of your dentist the tongue depressor is not the only thing that's 19th century.
🤣 🤣
Jack I will echo Jeff's opinion of your AC. Stag doesn't get any better. That little lamb is a dream.
Thanks a lot my friend, very kind of you :)
Have a great weekend Guardians.

Wonderful shot of a beautiful knife  :)
Jack it makes me happy to hear you have left that dentist behind. 😎👍👍
I'm afraid she left me Pete!🤣🤣Says a lot about the firm who bought the practice, my dentist left, her dental nurse left, and the practice manager left! I'm sure some of the other dentists will have left too :( It doesn't bode well for the future, a lot of folks here can't even find a dental practice! 😠
Bobstag today, rain has eased up, outside pics.

Hey now... I happen to live in Kalifornia. ;)
This would be a great state if it wasn't for all the dang crazy people. 🤣
Seem like a nice bunch where Dave Horsewright Horsewright lives ;)
It’s pretty nice, especially after we had these for dinner. 🍷😉👍View attachment 2370994

So true my friend! 🤣👍
Great to see you living well buddy! :D
The only people who regularly consume Hendersons here are the super rich. 🤣🤣🤣
🤣
If Matt Smith is the guy with the bow tie that plays soccer--er, footie, or whatever they call it now--then I have seen a few.
Started on this tonight:

Looks great Mitch  Are folks really that sensitive to the sight of a pocket knife? :(
Whew I’m away from internet connection for two weeks and I have a lot to catch up on.
Good luck Daniel! :D Taken me an hour to catch up this morning! ;)
Fancy phone! :D

Good morning Guardians, just calling to wish everyone a great day, before I run for the hills to escape any forthcoming Texan ire! :D

Yep Jack, you have to check the labels on everything with the marketing BS.
People are that jumpy, we have strict laws & it's up to you to justify a legitimate reason. Like your neck of the woods there is always a media beat up & gang violence. I don't think they are interested in middle-aged guys with a Lambsfoot or a sak. You still see the occasional folder pouch on belts. As you know common sense approach, where there is not much common sense left😉😉

New phone camera takes good photos 👍
Have a good day Jack!

Thanks kindly for your response Jack. Unfortunately, it is on parr with some recent builds I own.☹️
A very nice lamb you are carrying Jack.

Wow....simply irresistable!! Nice Dwight
Thanks pal.

That's a cozy comfortable spot you have back there Mitch.

Life is hard but it's nice to see you power through it. 😁
Wonderful shot of a beautiful knife
Gracias amigo mio.

Sorry to hear you and your missus are under the weather Bill, wishing you a speedy recovery  Carrying your Hartshead Barlow should definitely help

I haven't seen any flavoured sunflower seeds on sale here yet. Good idea, they're a healthy snack, but they benefit from a bit more flavour I think

I think I could probably find them somewhere else a lot cheaper, and they're far from my ideal storage solution, but they've saved me at least 2 shelves worth of space Barrett

He's on there, buying, all the time, but not only does he not right-click, he doesn't do email! 😖

Don't make him angry Paul! :D Great pic buddy :)
Thanks Jack. Every day and in every way I'm getting better and better😁. Missus is too:thumbsup:.
