Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

I really want to try this one, but I can’t get Blue Bell in Minnesota. Maybe next time I’m back in Arkansas.

Oh that looks good have to check the store and see if they have that!
Made a sandwich for lunch today. Cajun turkey, swiss cheese, mayonnaise (Duke’s) and Momofuku chili crunch. My open jar of chili crunch only had enough for half my sandwich, so I went ahead and opened up the jar of “Extra Spicy” chili crunch, which I hadn’t tried yet, for the other half. Maybe this wasn’t the best application for comparing the two, as I couldn’t really tell a difference. Tasty, though.

Nice Lamb and outstanding sandwich!😍😎 Seeing that Eskimo Joes cup reminded me of while I lived in Stillwater, OK drilling oil wells. Back then Eskimo Joes was a beer joint with a couple pool table. Now they're this big thing. 🤔😁

Let's not rush things Steve. I still have shorts out!!

Well you’d fit right in with all the teenage boys here in MN who wear shorts even when the temps are below 0°F. 🙄

Thanks, David. My dad was born in Stillwater, and a couple of my grandma’s older siblings (she was the youngest of 13) still live in the area. It’s probably been almost 20 years since I’ve been to Eskimo Joe’s (I think the last time was in college when a friend and I drove over from Fayetteville for an Arkansas/OSU baseball series). A couple years ago my mom was over there for a family reunion and got me some new Eskimo Joe’s cups. 🙂

Playing around with the new old one today.

It hasn't done much today, but it did well slicing up an onion for my Kase Spaetzle. One of my favorites. Caramelized onions, Gouda and Swiss cheese... Sometimes ham or a little bacon but not this time.

Spaetzle are also awesome with some ground beef and gravy, or Haluski (cabbage and noodles) instead of the normal noodles, soup dumpings or just butter them and enjoy. they are just great.

Try it. Very easy.
1c. Flour, 1/4 to 1/2 c. Milk, dash of salt and pepper, 1tsp nutmeg, 2 eggs. Mix it well and push it through a collander into a pot of boiling salted water. They are done when they float. I usually rinse and leave them to drain well.

I usually X4 this recipie for a family meal and it feeds the crew. 1 recipie should be good for two people.

Going to be at work during the Cowboy's game. My heart and brain thank me. A slow day at work has me surfing the internet for knives. A dangerous proposition. Got the Glenn recovered horn lamb riding in the pocket. Have a great day Guardians.

Paul you’re not missing a whole lot in the Cowboys game. May be worth a watch later though. That’s a spectacular recover. 😎
A few years ago I declared war on the tree rats. I stopped counting at 200 and eventually arrived at a ceasefire. A moratorium has been in place now for about 6 years and we have learned to live in harmony. Oh btw I was using a Ruger 22 target rifle. Had I been armed with your rig this place would be under a different regime. 😁

Jack Black Jack Black
Jack that's a fantastic image with the dragon saddle! I wonder what Khaleesi Daenerys would have thought of it.

We are still in full monsoon mode. Carry on all.

One heck of a combo Dwight. I like the Trace and the Damascus is special.

On the tree vermin, sounds like the battle for Helm’s Deep is over but the battle for Middle Earth is just beginning…

That IS dangerous! :D Great shot there buddy :)
Thanks for info Jack, just ordered another one from there and some steel ammo.👍🏻
Nice Bob, what size did you get?
I was worship assistant and sound guy this morning, which is a good excuse to have my last two Methodist pasties for Sunday dinner.

I had to adjust my level by stepping back from or leaning into the lectern.
Sounds like you earned those pasties Jer :)

When I was a boy, we used to shoot them with our catapults. We'd roast them over a fire, and the park keeper gave you a bounty for the tail :) If I look out of the window during the day, I'm bound to see at least one squirrel, but I don't mind them too much

Thanks Dwight, I think she'd definitely have wanted one! :D

Looks wet Dwight! :D ;) Great pic :)
I have a long way to go Dwight....my accuracy leaves a lot to be desired.
You'll soon get your eye in with a bit of practice Bob :) Once you work out how to aim, it's hard to miss

Here's one I need to take out with me, got it set up for 8.5mm steel

Cool pic. I have several of their slingshots.

Sweet David
They’re great, but I think the amount of salt in most of the flavorings negates the healthiness.
Ah! :D I used to visit a Bedouin family, in the evenings, many years ago. We'd drink tea and coffee, and chew sunflower seeds. Salt was about the only flavouring. Abu-Moussa was always trying to marry me off to his daughters! :D I occasionally wonder what my life would have been like if I'd accepted ☺️
Of course he doesn’t. 🙄🤣
He doesn't text either, obviously! 😖 😄
Always interesting to hear the history, Jack, even when it makes you shake your head. 🫤
Thanks Barrett, it does make you shake your head doesn't it?! 😣
 😬🤣
I read that line that I made bold and thought, “Yeah, I bet those people wish you’d made more now!” Then I read the rest of your paragraph. 😁
🤣

That sounds delicious Barrett 😋 A liberal application of the Momofuku I see! :D

For many years, there was a frozen food stall, in Leeds Market called Eskimo Joe's! :D

Good afternoon Guardians. What a glorious day it is here in coastal southern NC. Actually we could use some rain. Walked and extra 2 miles today and finished at our lake. Got the HHB as usual in my pocket.

LOL! :D Cool pic of your Blood Lamb Pete :)
Afternoon Guardians! Cold and wet here. Chance of sleet and snow this afternoon and evening. Kat Lamb with one of my favorite old tractors.

Blimey, you have a long winter David! Great pic of your handsome Alber's Lamb :)

Nice Bob, what size did you get?
Hi Jack,
Thanks,I bought an LT Pro ( aluminum) , it works well with my medium sized hand with 5/16 steel ammo. I will start experimenting with ammo sizes. Aiming is a process and learning to sight the sling shot in is all about time for sure Jack.
Your slings look interesting and hope you get to use them soon.

A touch up beats having to do a complete sharpening job. Do you like your Spyderco, they are expensive here now.
Yeah I do like it Leon. I mostly free hand, I do to like make sure the edges are even every now & then. Good for touch ups & great for serrated knives.
Yep they are expensive, I picked it up cheap. I do like the lansky turn box system, sold mine to a non knife person.
