Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Hi Jack,
Thanks,I bought an LT Pro ( aluminum) , it works well with my medium sized hand with 5/16 steel ammo. I will start experimenting with ammo sizes. Aiming is a process and learning to sight the sling shot in is all about time for sure Jack.
Your slings look interesting and hope you get to use them soon.
Nice Bob  I have big hands, so sometimes slingshots are a bit small for me. Getting a good fit makes all the difference. I've just realised they've suckered me into metricating the sling-shot ammo! I have a few aluminium ones, including this one, which is made in Sheffield.

It's a great slingshot, but I kind of prefer the challenge of the more simple (and lighter) models, such as this SimpleShot version of Zachary Fowler's 'Sparrow' :)

Thanks my friend, good luck

Thats cool! 😎

Thank you Jack! Your Charlie Lamb is looking good as always. Its suppose to be sunny and in the 60's next week so the the cold front is short lived.

Thank you David, that's good news :)

Looking good Mitch
Good evening everyone.

I just cannot get this one out of the pocket since it arrived. Such a great pocketknife!

Great pic too Hoff
Needed a touch up after lunch.

Is the steel OK Mitch?
Yeah I do like it Leon. I mostly free hand, I do to like make sure the edges are even every now & then. Good for touch ups & great for serrated knives.
Yep they are expensive, I picked it up cheap. I do like the lansky turn box system, sold mine to a non knife person.
When I first got a Sharpmaker, I used turn it over, put the 'rods' in flat, and freehand! :D I mainly use mine when I'm sharpening a new knife, to make sure I get the angle right. I should give that Worksharp Precision Adjust another go some time. I was so hacked off at being sold a sharpener that was unsuitable for traditional pocket knives, (mainly thanks to a bunch of fools on YT), that I've not looked at it since the day it arrived 😠 Reaper AL Reaper AL sent me one of their little Guided Field Sharpeners. It sits in a canvas pouch on my coffee table, with a bottle of oil, a cloth, and a pocket strop, and I quite often use it for touching-up. I've never used the diamond plates, just the ceramic rods, but it seems like a pretty good system, in a small package

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone had a great weekend :) I've got plenty to do today, so I better get on, and get started! :D I thought JohnDF JohnDF would like this pic :D Hope your week goes well Guardians

Run for the hills! 😱Definitely a unique lamb Jack.

As I progress deeper into this sport, I will begin experimenting with different slingshots. I can see many different designs available. I appreciate your encouragement Jack, it's a very interesting endeavor.👍🏻
Have a good day Jack.

Thanks Bob, there aren't many precision sports left for me to participate in here now  Particularly since I don't want to take my crossbow down to the local park, and end up sharing a cell with old Barry! 🤣

SpaceLamb! SpaceLamb! 🤣
Jack, the steel is OK , gives me a sharp edge to do some pruning & even cuts cardboard & still holds a reasonable edge it makes a good user.

I hear what you are saying about the sharpening systems. I got a lanky clamp system hard for me to put on & no good for small knives. Sits in the back of the cupboard. I like to use an old ezy lap sportsman diamond steel, that is so old it's smooth & easy to use for a hone.
Have a good day Jack.

Straker, why weren't those moonbase ground defenses in position already? And are those slinky, powder-blue jammies too tight on the interceptor pilots' brains? Crows are harder to decoy! I've got to secretly justify your secret budget to the secret pan-anglophone government tomorrow afternoon!

I just noticed, while researching anti-alien couture, that the same guy who did all the Supermarionette Vision was behind UFO. [Can't find a reverent salute smiley.]

I still don't have a toy space ship.

Now you have me watching some old British shows.... Space Patrol and Thunderbirds.
Those lambs are classic Jer.

Gorgeous lamb and great tasting bourbon
Thanks Bob. I had it in my coffee.
Playing around with the new old one today.
Love those shadow lambs.
One heck of a combo Dwight. I like the Trace and the Damascus is special.
Gracias Pedro! Have a great week my friend.
Dwight,
It was the lamb you carried today, and a similar one of Jack's, that pushed me over the edge to get Glen to whip up something similar. Yours is such a great one.
Thanks Jon. Glenn does fantastic work and never disappoints. 👍 The stag he put on yours is exceptional.

That's good to know Mitch, TEW are a pretty professional outfit, compared to Wright's for example, and I imagine they outsource to a proper HT firm

It's the same with the Lansky isn't? That's pretty poor :( I know what you mean brother, sometimes old and simple are the best :) Talking of which, I just spoke to Tool Man! 🤣 🤣

I was telling him about my weekend. Yesterday, I was moving a lot of books and DVDs around, and it left me feeling pretty thirsty. I went to the fridge to get a bottle of water, and glugged down a third of the bottle, before realising it was actually some home-distilled Slivovitz, I'd been given by one of the Tool Stall regulars! 🤣
Great picture, and it's always nice to see the Space Lamb taking flight. 🤠
Thanks pal, it was a great gift, thank you for seeking it out for me :)

LOL! :D I once saw some of the UFO and Thunderbirds puppets and vehicles Jer. They were much bigger than I had realised, standard about 3ft high
Hope you've been practicing Bob! 🤣 Tell us more about that 'Prototype' stamp please  Great pic
Beautiful photo of that lovely old Lamb Dwight :)

It's been a pretty miserable day here, gloomy skies, and rain, throughout :( I called in at Charlie's, and then headed into town with multiple missions ;) Unfortunately, the Tunisian guy who runs the food stall in the market has not returned from his hols yet, so I had falafel from the Turkish bakery instead :)

I'm back at Grumble Towers now, and having what I think was described as a Biscoff Cheesecake Brownie with a nice cup of Yorkshire ;)

Well, it looks as if you had a good start at finding substance for the day Jack.

It seems the Daniel's family who own the name..Titusville...save these for last. They sent them to a distributing dealer to sell. I have purchased similar models and see no difference between the proto and retail models, other than a lower price. The fit and finish are very good.

On another note, the squirrels seem to be staying away.😁

My wife just ordered this for me.
Hopefully you are enjoying a peaceful day.
