Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Yep! :D I'm still midway through my mega de-clutter/re-organisation of my books, DVDs, knives, etc! Breaking for a couple of cheeseburgers and some chocolate milk, and then I'll be right back to it  ;)

Dang. Those are easily the top three things I own the most of, and I guessing it might be the same for you. Sounds like quite an undertaking! Good luck.

They're banned in New Jersey??!!! Good grief, that's crazy! 🤬 One of the first things to be banned here was blow-pipes! 🤯 That was in the mid 1970's, when it wasn't even hard to get hold of a gun-license here (you could own a semi-auto AK, easily enough, well into the 80's)! I only ever knew one kid who owned a blow-pipe, and he was American. It was good fun, but essentially like a long pea-shooter, that could be made even easier than a slingshot! 🤨

I remember going with a couple friends and our dads to a gun show when we were kids. We all walked out with a blowgun and a knife, ‘cause that’s what they had there that kids could buy. 🤣

Good morning Guardians !

Woke up to the first measurable snow of the season

Stay warm !

Hope you didn’t have to get out and about too early. The roads out our way were a mess early this morning when my wife was headed to work, but not too bad when I took Eleanor to school just before 9.

After that I had to take my truck to the mechanic. I just got a call from them with a quote for the repair and now I’m grumpy. 🙄 Hoping they at least get it done by the end of the day, but he said they might have to keep it until tomorrow.

Last night the girls painted a couple pumpkins (they opted for painting rather than carving this year, although once Halloween is over, I’ll probably still take the tops off and scoop out the seeds for roasting). I’ve been sticking with the Katalox Albers for a while now, but it might be time to give some of my other Lambsfoot knives some pocket time.

I'm nowhere near finished I'm afraid! I'm amazed just how many duplicate DVDs I own though (a few books too)! 😵‍💫

LOL! :D 'Blowgun', that's it! I wrote that originally, and then changed it to blow-pipe for some reason! :D I always remember the vintage US comic book ads for them, with the guy holding up an armadillo! 🤣 I don't know if anyone else remembers them?

Thankfully I didn't have to drive anywhere this morning. Sorry to hear about your truck 🙁

Most of my duplicate books I bought on purpose (usually because there was some new edition of a favorite book that I liked the look of and thought I needed to own). I think this one (old pic I posted here a while back) is the only one I have in triplicate, though. 😁

It’s all good, just one of those fun parts of being an adult. The annoying thing is I knew what the problem was (water pump), and I maybe(?) could have replaced it myself, especially had I know what it would cost. But at least it’s done now (he did end up getting it done today).

It’s gonna be a chilly night trick-or-treating. I might bring a flask to help me keep warm. 😁

Thanks, Steve!

Fitting! 😁💀
