Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Very nice David :)
Thank you buddy!
I had soup again, tomato and lentil this time 😋

Albers loooking good. Your soup sore looks tasty. Hope enjoyed it. 🤠

Thanks for the extra pics Steve, that's very impressive  There was a time when Wostenholm's QC was meticulous (if rather idiosyncratic). Back in the 'liver and draw' days, cutlers would turn up with their finished knives, hoping to get paid for them, and 'Georgie', (the 2nd), would strike the blades on a small anvil, and if he didn't like the sound they made, or anything else about the knife, he'd reject the whole lot
Perhaps so, blue is my favorite color so I’m okay with it. Thanks for the word history, now I’m off to underlonte some unsuspecting chaps. 🤣😉
LOL! :D Blue was always the default colour in our house, when I was growing up :D ;)
I've never had fries and spicy curry sauce.... But Im pretty sure I'd put spicy curry sauce on just about anything. Getting me hungry here sir .... Lol. I'm going to my favorite spot tomorrow with Natalie for some Panang curry over rice and fresh spring rolls. Ooo I can't wait.
The curry sauce they sell in British fish and chip shops became popular when I was a boy, when the first Chinese-owned fish and chip shops and Chinese takeaways started opening. It doesn't really have much in common with a real curry sauce, (though it looks a bit like a Katsu curry), being made, today at least, from a powder, which is mixed with boiling water. It's been around for so long now, that most folks view it as traditional, and to be fair, it is quite tasty, but they wouldn't serve it in a restaurant. I'm sure you and Natalie got something much better :) Hope you enjoyed it Rick

This picture was over the weekend but I'm still carrying around this knife (and have been often since it came here). I'm really enjoying it. Perfect snap and nice and tight. Coin edge liners with the fileworked spring and blade. Very easy to pinch open. Just a good one. The stag is ok. Looks good enough for me and fits my hand very well.

The watch is a small Waltham that was exported to England and cased in Sterling in 1876. I have a little sub collection of export watches like this and have always found them fascinating.
That's a cool old pocket-watch to go with your Lambsfoot :)
I think I'm finally getting back to normal after my hospital ordeal. Finally comfortable driving again. I don't know if it was the new meds or whatever was wrong with me but I couldn't drive. The whole thing was very strange.

About a month ago, I was feeling terrible for a good stretch and got a really bad headache one night and don't particularly want to describe what else, but then I couldn't form sentences and was very confused. Numbing and such in my arm. Pains.. Nat took me up the hospital. At first they thought a stroke .. then meningitis or encephalitis... None of the above. After testing me for a million other things and being a bit disoriented in the neurology unit for about two weeks, they called it complicated migraines.

They have me on some kind of old school psych med (and steroids of course) that has proved to work on stuff like this. Hope it keeps working! Maybe it'll fix my crazy too. 🤪

sorry for rambling. It was just an odd experience.

Hope y'all are having a much better time of it!
That sounds awful Rick  Sorry you have been having to go through that buddy, Natalie must have been really worried :( I sure hope the meds continue to work, and that they can get to the bottom of the problem
Well that's a strange coincidence since just the other day I asked someone to please don't "underlonte" me for using my "vigsy" to carve out my "randle-balk". :)

That's Minnesota! 🤣 ;) Great to see you here pal, hope you're doing OK :) Very cool Eric's Lamb :)
They call mine "stroke mimics". Nothing as long term as yours yet, though.
Strange is right.
Glad you're better.
Yikes! Hope those don't get any worse Jer, doesn't sound like a lot of fun :(
Looking good Mitch, cool pic  :)
Very cool Gus  :)

Mine are probably migraine-related, too. CoQ10 seems to help. And staying hydrated.
And the specialists are just kids, dangnabbit!

Big Rose is in good shape
I'll ask doc about that stuff tomorrow when I'm there, thanks! I'm just shy of 40 and the specialists definitely still seem like kids! 😂
Hope it goes OK Rick

It’s become a running joke with my mom. She’s been doing it for years, but thankfully doesn’t show any other signs for concern, cognitively speaking.
I think my mom was only in her 30's when it started! :D
My dad’s mom started having a lot of trouble with her memory after undergoing a routine surgery in her late 70s for which they had to put her under anesthesia. I don’t know what exactly happened, but she was never the same after, and eventually had to move into an assisted living facility. She struggled to rememeber who was who. My mom would visit her regularly, and towards the end she would tell her that my dad had just stopped in for a visit, despite the fact that he’d died a few years earlier. 🫤
That's terrible Barrett!
Ah yes, the Irish are well known for their spicy cuisine, particularly when compared to Indian and Chinese food. 🤣
LOL! 🤣 See: {Adult Language Warning!)
No, I opted for the gym first, and then got a sandwich after. The potatoes will still be good tomorrow. 🙂
Good for you :D :)
There’s one I haven’t heard in years! 😎
Certainly never heard it like that! :D

Thank you buddy!

Albers loooking good. Your soup sore looks tasty. Hope enjoyed it. 🤠
Thanks David, you just reminded me I have lunch in the fridge! :D ;)
Looking good Mitch, very tasty :)

I always wished my folks had emigrated! :D

Good morning Guardians, hope everyone is doing OK, and that your week got off to a good start :) While Mitch is enjoying his barbie, we have frost here in Yorkshire. At least it isn't raining though, which is always a bonus! :D I'm meeting Nobber Al later, going to have some food and a few beers, so I'm going to get some work done before then. Carrying my Damascus Lamb :) Have a great day Guardians

Thanks mate! :D I guess somebody has to live here! ;) :D I'm hoping it doesn't turn TOO much of a boozing session, as I have a couple of things on tomorrow, but you know how it goes! :D

Rose Beast!
You do a great job remembering all these names and are entitled to a lapse.:D
Sorry mate! Please apologise to Rose for me! 🥺🙏Blimey, what is happening to me this week?! I hope I've not got to the point where I start dribbling soup down my shirt, and have to have a luggage label pinned to my coat in case I get lost!😩

I was going to take that self-administered dementia test yesterday, but I can't get my printer to work.

I finally managed a huge Linux update, though. At least Linux, unlike Firefox, tells you what to do. It just took me a while to locate the right password for the terminal screen

Looks like we are in the freezer this morning but at least it's supposed to warm up to 32° later today 👍

Thanks for the read on the team, Jack. Was the 1878 team a group of ex cons by chance? ;)🤣 Kidding of course, but that was my first thought when I saw the picture with the striped shirts from that year's team.
