My recent package from Bob Rufus1949 Rufus1949 arrived quicker than a package I had ordered from Melbourne.
Last night I received an email about 8.45pm asking now that package for my daughter had arrived what was the experience like. Scratch head what delivery? We got back from Costco around 5.30 no package. So I went out and checked yep package sitting next to the front door. So between 6 and 8.45 it had been dropped off, still waiting for a knock on the door 😲I said to Kristy I did hear a car about 6.30 while Out cooking ɓut thought it was across the road.
Ever since covid, has been a drop and run policy.
I have scared the Sh#t out of a few delivery drivers, by opening the front door as they arrive on the veranda

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is well, and having a good week. I had a text from my mate Bod, who relocated to Poland a few years back, last night, and he is making a flying visit tonight. I've arranged to meet him in the pub, and I'm going to the cinema with my friend Matt, today, so it's going to be a bit of a rush. Tomorrow, I have a dental appointment, which will limit my attendance at the market, and then Friday I'm off to a Christmas Market in Derbyshire, south of Sheffield, with two other events on Saturday too! :eek: I'm just rushing to go and meet Matt at Charlie's. The mercury continues to drop, so I'll be wrapping up! 🥶 With all this rushing about, I thought I needed some Waboom! :D Have a good day Guardians :) :thumbsup:

Hope everyone is having a good day :) Minus 3 here today, and getting colder, but that's in 'new money', so I've no idea what the real temperature is. Cold though 🥶 Some snow on the tops already, and more expected ❄️ Me and Matt went to see the new Nicholas Cage movie, which was funny, but not as funny as something that happened in the cinema. We were the only people in the theatre, until just before the film started. I then turned my head to see a young woman standing slightly to my right, in front of the seat next to me, where my coat was. Being as all the seats were empty, I had just put it there, and she wanted to sit in that seat. I found this very bizarre, but apologised, and moved my coat to the seat two to the left of Matt. She sat down, and even when the movie started, and it was obvious nobody else was coming in, she remained. Afterwards, I half expected her to join us for coffee! :D
