You are not alone, but I hope you get it soon. I would be wearing a path in carpet waiting for that sweet knife Will."In transit to next destination facility, arriving late"
For the past two weeks, that's all the United States Postal Service has been willing to tell me about this Arizona Desert Ironwood Albers lamb that was mailed out on the 15th of this month.
Two whole weeks. Fourteen entire days.
That's how long it took this lamb to mosey(?) from NY to FL. I've received packages from an actual frozen warzone - A Crost Ye Vast Sea - faster than that and I bet some of you have too.
The knife was worth the (unnecessarily long) wait in spades, but if that's the best the US Postal Service can do in 2023 - then its untimely reception is bittersweet.
At least they didn't lose it or leave it at the wrong house though. So, I got that going for me...

I hear you! I just got it today. I told the new postman who dropped it off (can't get a regular in these parts...) the tale and he just shook his head. You are not alone, but I hope you get it soon. I would be wearing a path in carpet waiting for that sweet knife Will. A knife, usually delivered in 7 days is on its 3rd week for me!!! ( DHL which is faster than USPS).
Thanks!Looks delicious Todd. You definitely have the correct blade for the task.![]()

It must be 15 years since I first told my doc that I was concerned about my memory. I never get any sense out of the empty-headed fools!I was going to take that self-administered dementia test yesterday, but I can't get my printer to work.

I finally managed a huge Linux update, though. At least Linux, unlike Firefox, tells you what to do. It just took me a while to locate the right password for the terminal screen
Just a bit! Thanks for the info. How times have changed![]()
Thanks buddy, temperature is about the same here. I was glad to get in!Damascus Lamb is looking good !
Looks like we are in the freezer this morning but at least it's supposed to warm up to 32° later today

Quite possibly Jeremy! Thanks for the read on the team, Jack. Was the 1878 team a group of ex cons by chance?Kidding of course, but that was my first thought when I saw the picture with the striped shirts from that year's team.
Glad they're looking after you ToddGood morning Guardians. I’m having a prep period snack of deer sticks. A perk of having a bunch of deer hunters as students!View attachment 2405862

Only 14 days that not to bad this time of year right before Christmas. I've had them go on longer walk abouts. That's part of the fun watching the tracking to see where your package goes."In transit to next destination facility, arriving late"

Outstanding bone jigging on Baxter. What a beaut!
Good to hear from ya Dennis!Hello to all! Hope everyone is well amd avoiding illness. I hope to be slowing down some and catch up on all the fine photos that I've missed.
Here is a buck that likes to bed down in our dog run... you can bet you'll not see one during season where it's legal to take one! But we just enjoy seeing them every day.
Very cool Barrett. My favorite is the original "Miracle on 34th street".In my opinion you can’t decorate the Christmas tree without a Christmas movie on, which means I had to get my Christmas movie list ready. I make one of these every year and mark off movies as we watch them. Last year was the first year I was able to mark them all off.
Your imagination is limitless Jer!I'm thinking about making a chapeau de fer with a wide and toothed brim that rotates freely on a central pivot, for when the Burmese and reticulated pythons get this far north. I'll get Taylor Swift to endorse it, and my fortune will be made.
We had a great time with family and friends Bob. I was 14 pages behind! That's a gorgeous Waynorth Lamb.Honoring the pile side theme before light hanging duties. I hope all had a great time with family and friends.
Love the covers on this one Todd.Good morning Guardians, rainy here today so no fireside photos, but here’s my soggy “Pile Side Sunday” shot. LikeRufus1949 , I’ll be doing some Christmas decorating. We did the outside yesterday so it’s the inside today. No tree yet though, that should be delivered some time this week.

Fantastic find Steve! Appears to be unused.Good morning all !
Going with my two bladed I*XL today. This knife was made by a master of his trade. F&F is every bit as good as a GEC. Perfect pull and snap and both blades are flush at half stop.
I feel really fortunate to have found this one
