Wow Steve, knives were made for the Australian market with that blade configuration, but I don't think I've ever seen them on a Gunstock frame before. Absolutely fascinating

A lot of the terms we use here are modern collector's terms, and many of them are American too. That frame is very much like the smaller frames used for very old two-blade Quill knives
They produced very high quality knives Steve. Sorry Steve, you're going to have to wait until after Christmas now!

Looks like I'm going to get hit with the tail-end of a 2-day French ATC strike tomorrow, which is likely to mean I'll be stuck on the plane a lot longer than expected before it takes off
