Have a fantastic holiday trip, Jack!
The last few weeks have been full of ups and downs: a wonderful trip to celebrate Mom's 90th, a bout of covid, and the loss of the sweetest cat I've known.

I barely slept a wink last night but I did have a dream that I found it

Found it![]()
You guys are not going to believe it but it was still sitting on top of the branch where I took the picture yesterday. I was distracted at the time by people coming down the trail with a dog. Cassie was off leash and I was focused on rounding her up. I just forgot to grab it up before moving on.![]()
I brought a magnetic pickup tool but didn't need it. Thankfully with the rain not many people had walked by that spot. It must not have been windy last night as it was precariously perched atop that branch.

Lamb was a bit damp and cold but none the worse of wear from it's night out in the elements

A few years back, I was having some internet woes at home, and took to going up to a big local pub, with my Ipad, and getting a coffee. There was a private event there on one occasion, and the bar-staff told me it was an old gentleman's 90th birthday party. Soon after, I went to the bathroom, and as I opened the door, there was a little old man. I said, "You must be the birthday boy." He told me the party was a surprise, he thought he was just having lunch with his daughter, but old friends and relatives had come from all over. He then added, "I'm glad you came in, I haven't been able to get out!" It turned out that a couple of family members had escorted him to the bathroom, and left him to it, but he wasn't strong enough to open the door to get back out!![]()
Good morning Guardians !
I picked up a few more vintage Lambs. I'm carrying this unusual one today.
G.Butler & Co. two blade Lamb with a Spey secondary on a gunstock frame.
I had to clean it up as the liners were rusty and very dirty. A little wobble on the blades but great snap, I might try and tighten it up a bit.
Lovely old Stag !

Two lovelies Dwight.
I don't see a tenth of the Lambsfoot knives for sale as I did 5 years ago David, and about 2/3 of the ones I do are BexThanks buddy. Seem to be snagging a lot of Bex lately.
LOL!Glad you were able to help the old feller out. I thought for a second you were going to say he hadn’t known all his friends and family would be there, and he was in the bathroom avoiding them.![]()
It can be hard work this time of year Barrett, and with the size of the average TV these days, hauling a couple of them can't have been easy. I'm glad you got to relax with a nice dramBusy weekend here. Had to haul two TVs to be recycled on Saturday morning, then go buy a new TV and try to finish up some Christmas shopping. Most of today was spent tidying up and tackling a few other tasks around the house. (Still not quite finished on that front, but I’ve still got a few days before family starts showing up.)
Winding down now with Christmas movie and a nightcap.

Good morning Guardians, I'm just having a coffee at the airport, though my take-off is still at least 2 hours away. I was glad I remembered to book the 'Fast Track' at the airport, or I'd still be queuing at security! No knife pics unfortunatelyHave a good day everyone, and hope your week gets off to a decent start
