Fantastic pics Steve You seem to be getting out and about a lot I witnessed an unusual meteorological event here this afternoon - it stopped raining!

A lot of the post offices here now are just counters in other businesses. Sometimes the folks running them have several businesses, and don't even look at you while they are serving you, as they are on the phone

I hope that's not what we have to look forward to.

Hi there Guardians!

I had a recent arrival of a Joseph Rodgers Coke Bottle style handle- it's a rather worn ol' Gal- but I just couldn't pass it by!

What a find Duncan!!! Now that's a worthy addition to a regal flock! Very cool to see a coke bottle JR lamb.

I manged to take a few photo's lately under the Porch isn't good enough- as it is too "Glary" I used to have gorgeous lighting with some of the Trees in the older House.

Yesterday I placed back my AC back after having it in the edc for so long, I am wondering which one to pick out and use now......

Cassie keeps me out and about to the tune of about 6 miles a day on average

Went out for a late morning stroll with the lamb today. It started raining a little bit, so I cut it short. Its supposed to get down to the mid teens (fahrenheit) next week, so I better toughen up!

Tried out a new recipe the other day, chicken pot pie soup. It’s okay, not great though. Worth making again but will need to improve the recipe next time. too bad I have like a gallon of the stuff left over…

But I think it makes for a decent backdrop

Very fine score, Duncan. It's interesting seeing some of these rare birds come out of the wood work.

I do believe that I have both you and Jack beat when it comes to poor condition though - I think it should be a crime for someone to use a grinder to sharpen a knife but some folks just didn't know any better, I suppose.

Well done, you have down trou'd both Jack and I, and I am oooozing jealousy looking at Rhidians interpretation - I ALWAYS enjoy your posts, you have great Knives, great taste my friend. I love Joseph Rodgers when they went ape stamping all over the Blades!

On a totally flip side on Dylan scale of quality, I*XL have the name for outstanding Knives- that doesn't have to be mentioned really, but I am not sure exactly when- it seems to me to be late 60's- perhaps 70's when they used a Coloured Composite Red handle material- a lot of it was on the Clip point Barlows etc, but I saw this, and I found myself keeping on going back to it, "Yes Duncan - it's that yukky material.." but - like I said I kept going back to look at it thinking "Well..... it's the nicest exampl of this material that I have seen, and it's on a Lambsfoot- so what are you doing "
So I bought it- just to check it out, it's not tooooooo bad, I think I am happier owning it than not- so that answer my question of did I waste my money - it was pretty inexpensive as well, so.......... here it is, ( it has a wee krink in the tip of the blade - photo's make it look quite severe- it's actually on the edge only ....
