Get better soon mate.Excuse my absence, Guardians. A bit under the weather. Been keeping in touch with many of you over text. I really don’t like to miss a day. Pretty sure I have Covid version 87 or whatever number they are on. Nothing major with moderate flu like symptoms.
Now that we got the bad news out of the way. The weather here in Wisconsin is lovely. Supposed to get into the 50s next week!! Nothing much going on here. On a DayQuil/Nyquil diet. HHB has been in the pocket and have cut through about 4 large oranges. Vitamin C time. Hope everyone is having a great day.

One of my favorite features of the lambsfoot is the straight edge. Precision, control, and ease of sharpening all in one. I rarely find myself making cuts that require belly, but that may be a case of me adapting to the tool.I was having a look through the Otter website earlier (my mind is rambling all over the place at the moment), and I spotted the knife below, which Otter call the York. At first glance, it immediately reminded me of the knifebirdsbeaks posted for us to see the other week (that may have been partly because I'd gone to the site seeking information for him though). Upon closer inspection, there's no direct connection, and the blade appears to have a slight curve. Otter refer to it being a modern blade shape, which I think is correct. Makes one wonder if they could make a Lamb though

Old and new examples included, I'm impressed with the robust construction that most Otters seem to offer and can safely say that if they ever decided to straighten that blade out a bit and slap a "Real Lambsfoot" etch, or better yet - engraving, on the side; I'd make sure to pick up a few! The logo on the pivot is a nice touch, imo.
Appreciate you taking the time to try to dig up some info for me!![]()

Definitely buddyI've been impressed with Otter too, and for the most part, they seem like a good traditional company. They should do a Lambsfoot
I'm sorry that I wasn't firing on all cylinders yesterday, not that that's new!
