Sorry about you phone issues. My wife had a problem with her phone and dropping calls all the time. With the hep from our provider she discovered that she needed to go into the settings on the phone and activate turn on WiFi calling in the Phone app (we have iPhones). Fixed her problem. Hope you get you phone problems resolved. Very cool photo of your ALF knife. Thanks David, I'm not having a good run I'm afraid, I'm full of cold, and my infected tooth is hurting so bad, I can't eat my breakfast
YepI don't often use them as nicks, but find they really help with purchase when pinching open a stiff blade
I've had numerous bottles of it Bill, I just prefer to know the age of my whisky, rather than get hoodwinked with a blendAlso, being a grown-up, I'd rather drink 12 year old Highland Park, for example, rather than 'Viking Honour'!

Well done BillI don't know what is going on with mine, it's not just the wi-fi, it's the phone connectivity. It's gotten to the point where I'm having to stand next to the windows to make a call!
Nice pic of your Barlow

Very nice Ken![]()
That must have made you proud pal, please give him my bestOne heck of a Lamb there
When folks tell me they don't like red wine, or white wine, or whatever, I always think it might be because they've just not had a good example, and formed the opinion when they were young. A lot of folks here don't drink whisky, because they tasted some rot-gut, as a teenager, for example. Tool Man is very opiniated about all things, despite his lack of knowledge of most of them
He likes cheap, strong lager, and the cheapest rum, and insists that anything else is just wasting money. It's rather funny to hear him say, "I can't stand Champagne!" What kind of Champagne has that bum ever had?!
Spectacular Dwight![]()

Good morning Guardians, how's everyone doing, I hope you all have something interesting planned for the weekend. It's been raining here, again, but looks like it might brighten up a bit. I feel pretty rotten, but I'm going to have to go out. I was supposed to be meeting up with Wolfie today, but I don't want to give him my coldHoping I feel a bit better later, or at least stop coughing so much
Wishing everyone a great weekend
Albers seems to be the order of the day

I have a bottle of the small batch select. Great bourbon! My favorite drink however is single malt scotch.Growing up as your average kid in Middle America, I drank cheap beer and cheap whiskey with my buddies. Later in life I found the pleasures of a “good” beer but never developed much of taste for other alcohols. That was until some friends introduced me to some really fine tequilas during various trips to Mexico. I never knew tequila could taste so smooth and flavorful. Still not much of whiskey drinker, fast forward to many years later when my youngest son, and good friend of Jacks, had me try some high end bourbons. Darn if they weren’t quite tasty also. Here is a brand we both enjoy.

We routinely have a few bottles of Costco vodka in stock. Their roasted chickens are a very good deal too!Afternoon all,

Kristy and our eldest have gone to an Afternoon evening wedding.
Kristy went to Costco this morning & bought me a little bottle of French vodka and a chicken, so a couple of quiet beverages, chicken coleslaw dinner. I can live with that.

Good morning Guardians. Had friends over last evening for grilled hamburgers on the barbie and some fruit salad and garden salad too. Tried to get a good photo but by the time I finally went for the camera it was all gone. I have my HHB handy today (again).

Thanks Duncan, and I have a soft spot for triple fluted bolsters.
sbh06, I'll certainly give it a try.
Dwight, thanks and maybe a taste testing is in our future...
Yes Paul, a night and day difference doesn't quite cover it.
Jack, you'd barely recognize that little kid now with a full beard. And it is simply amazing how enjoyable good alcohol can be.
Onebigbill, it's now on my list.
Steve, that's some great stag on an otherwise beautiful Current Lamb.
A couple of English classics.
