Afternoon all.
Swans play tonight 😁😁
Busy weekend, footy tonight. My daughter turns 18 this weekend on St Patrick's day, legal drinking age in Australia.
So relatives over tomorrow night & out for dinner Sunday night. .

Have a good weekend and Happy Birthday to your daughter 👍

Good morning Guardians, I feel very happy and content today, like I went to a great birthday party, or something, last night :D Receiving the wonderful gift from you all has certainly crowned what has been a pretty good week for me, and it will have pride of place in my Lambsfoot collection :) I hope everyone else has had an equally pleasant week, with a great weekend to come  I'm hoping to meet up with Wolfie today, and I also have to pick up my new specs - which are more or less the same as my old specs! :D It's raining again outside, but definitely not in my heart! :D ;)

Have a great day Guardians, and thanks again :) You can probably guess what I'm carrying today ;) The paperback was a gift from Golden Gordon

Well deserved Jack ! 👍

I think it's been an hour now, maybe longer, and my heart-rate has only just settled back down, and my vision cleared. I don't know how you guys managed to put this together, but I received a very special gift this evening, a wonderful knife, which I will treasure always. It is one of Cosimo Di Bendetto's beautifully elegant Lambsfoot knives, and it would be amazing enough, but it came as a gift from a bunch of you, who are my friends, which is why it will always have a special place in my heart. I can't thank you folks enough for all the kindness and friendship I have received here over the years, but this knife will be a special reminder of both. Thank you so much my dear friends :)

It's late here, and long dark, but here is my Pals' Lambsfoot :)

My special thanks to Cosimo, and to @Jakeywax31 , Rufus1949 Rufus1949 , @bigfish64 , @Angry Waiter , @Joefairbanks , sbh06 sbh06 , @r8shell , @Campbellclanman , waynorth waynorth , @mitch13 , @Hatchet_Jack, SteveC SteveC , btb01 btb01 , echoscout echoscout ,

My most sincere thanks Charlie :)
That's fer sure!

One of twenty, I believe.
Thank you kindly buddy :) Those are pretty rare for sure :)

I hope everyone is having a good Friday :) My optician's appointment was at Noon, and I was expecting a delivery at 3pm, but I woke up to find the delivery was now at middday, so had to put it off until Monday. I shaved and showered, and headed down To Charlie's, where I discovered I'd forgotten my reading glasses. No worries, as I would be picking up a new pair in an hour or so. After coffee at Charlie's, I headed into town, called in at my bank, and as I was early for the optician, wasted a bit of time by window-shopping. At 11.55am, I walked into the optician's to find that the assistant manager, whom I was due to see, wasn't there, as he had been sent elsewhere. And nobody thought it was worth letting me know! So no glasses, and I have to go there again, next Tuesday :( If I hadn't paid for the glasses, I'd be going elsewhere! 🤨 I'd forgotten that Wolfie was taking his missus somewhere today, so I headed down to the market for lunch :) It was nice, but I could have used the time at home better. Now I better get on with some house-work I think ;)

Cosimo did a great job!

Thank you for your friendship, Jack, and for all that you’ve done for this community, this group, and for so many of us individually over the years.:thumbsup:

Andy presented me with a traditional brass and copper English hunting horn, for some reason by way of recompense! :D It is in 2 sections, and four foot long, and Tool Man was the only one of us who could get much noise out of it.

Well we all know he’s full of hot air. 😉🤣

I am so happy that Jack Black Jack Black recieved that wonderful lamb. Great team effort everyone. Bob’s connection with Cosimo was the most important thing. I was overwhelmed by the blind willingness to help by everyone. You all are awesome and I’m proud to call you all my friends.

Jack, you have fostered a very close group here and your presence and friendship on the forum cannot be measured. I am so happy that you are ok and pray for calm waters ahead. Well deserved knife for our friend and let’s face it a father to the pattern for many of us. There may be plenty of back seat drivers to the lambsfoot but nobody would be capable of harboring the close knit group of people we have here. I think I can speak for everyone in saying that we enjoy the pattern but the friendships it has brought to us is the most important thing.

Thank you @Cosimo De Benedetto for dropping everything and making that knife in a week!!! Your skills are awe inspiring, sir. Whenever I see one of your creations my jaw just hits the floor. I suspect that after awhile there will be a l good number of Guardians carrying your knives.

What he said! ☝️😁

I’ve got my Albers Lamb in Afzelia Burl in my pocket again today, pictured here with some questionable Easter treats my wife picked up recently.
