Many years ago, I taught English in France, and have offered to give Anna and Fabrizio a couple of free lessons a week, but they have no interest. Everyone else at the cafe speaks a handful of languages :rolleyes: I let Eve pick the movie yesterday, but said I didn't mind seeing Dune 2 a second time if she hadn't seen it (she had) :D You too mate :) :thumbsup:

Good morning Guardians, I'm hoping for a rain-free day today, though there's a chance of a shower this afternoon :rolleyes: I was reading some disturbing articles about the state of the crops here, and it seems that it was so wet the winter crop of root vegetables was no good, and with many farms, literally, underwater, farmers can't plant for this year. Lambs are dying in the fields. We have had the wettest winter ever recorded here, and that followed on a very wet summer :( I think I may be too old and ugly to move elsewhere! :eek: I've not even heard from Che, my girlfriend in Santa Dominica! 🤣 I hope everyone is well, and that your week has got off to a good start. I have a bunch of stuff to do indoor, but I do need to get some bread, and a few other things, so I might nip into town this morning ;) Have a good day Guardians :) :thumbsup:

There was a storm warning here last night David, I'm not sure if it happened, hard to tell with the way the weather has been :rolleyes: I hope there was no damage there my friend, and that the wind eases soon :) Really nice Lockwood Brothers :cool: :thumbsup:
