Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

A fancy finish to the day 😀.

Sweet ! 👍

Well guardians, I just wasn’t connecting with my snakewood Albers. I gave it a good go, carrying it regularly and using it plenty over the last six months or so. Nothing wrong with the pattern, I just didn’t feel that “spark” with the snakewood. I was craving a darker cover material.

So I sold my user to a friend who’d been after one for a bit, and used the funds to purchase this Katalox version. Immediately, I’m much more attracted to the darker handle. Slims the main body of the knife up visually a bit to my eye.

In the end, all three parties are happy. My buyer got a pretty great deal on a light user. I got the handle material I was after. And my seller made a good sale.

Anyways, here’s the new lamb.

Glad to hear everyone is happy :) That's a beauty :)
Thanks buddy! I agree. It having belonged to our pal Harvey makes all the difference!
❤️
Gracias my friend.

Very cool Jack!
Thanks pal, I know an Italian guy, Maurizio, who has a market stall. He used to sell mainly glassware and pottery, but, currently he's selling coins and model vehicles, so let me know if there's anything you want me to look out for

Afternoon all,
The flock had a day off & a spa treatment 😁

Fantastic Mitch  I hope I can get time to have a spa day myself sometime soon :) That's a handsome-looking flock my friend :)

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone is doing OK. It isn't actually raining here at the moment, and looks like a nice day. I'm hoping to get out later, but I've also got plenty of stuff to do indoors before then. Carrying my OTHER Hartshead Barlow ;) Hasve a great day Guardians

You would have liked the Maitland steamfest that was on, in the weekend just gone. About 40 minutes north, west of me

I'm sure your fine flock appreciated the TLC Mitch.
😀
Yep
I like to give the pivot a brush out & the often forgotten nail nick😁, hone & oil the pivots.

Thank you kindly Steve :)

Hope everyone is having a good day :) I went to the post office, via Charlie's, and we've had intermittent showers, sunshine, and some light hail 😖

It's been like watching a full seasons timelapse out the workshop window today!

Photo Fodda: Modified AW Wright 33W. Still only Lambsfoot I have, but I'm interested in the same knife in ebony if anyone has any leads??
Anyway he's helped me get this belt packed up for shipping 👌

Same here in Leeds Thomas, chucking it down again right now  Really nice work there, and nicely presented too :) Please have a read of post 1 in this thread. As per the sub-forum guidelines, we try to keep commercial discussion out of this thread. Google is your best friend for this, in any case
Good morning Guardians !

Carrying Gidget today 👍

Amazing Albers Steve :)
Good morning all...rain held off for a round of golf.
Congratulations Bob, a fine-looking Lamb there
Thanks Steve, I only wish the blades would take a patina.
I know what you mean, I wonder if Eric will ever do any in Carbon?

I haven't eaten a lot today, but don't have much of an appetite, so I thought I'd have some cheese on toast (with a good dollop of Henderson's of course ;) )

Can't say I'm particularly impressed with the 'food' setting on my camera

Thanks Jack. We can only give so many hints.😁

Market Day tomorrow, here in Leeds, and I'll be taking Big Bex, the Tool Man of my flock! 🤣 I rang the lummox this afternoon, and was surprised when Boring Ray answered. They had been to do a garage clearance at a friend of ours. I'm sure I'll get the details tomorrow ;) Have a good day Guardians :)
