Great news David
Guilty!
That's very space-age!
First one I saw, I thought somebody had built a car in their garage... those things are ugly (my opinion).![]()
Good luck Pete!End of times is near.
Thanks Jack. It made my morning, today. Tomorrow is a new adventure.![]()
Made in Italy for Carl Kammerling (mark is 'CK'). Not a true Lambsfoot, but better than some of their more recent offerings, which you might still find pics of in the Thread Index. I bought one for discussion purposes. The lack of markings may mean they're being sold to other companies.
Took a fair bit of work to get it to that point, I had to use pliers to get the blade open the first time!I just pinch it open. When it gets some patina it will be easier to pinch as well. I prefer stiff springs. She will pull a nail if you don’t use the right technique![]()
Great pics Jack!
Thanks a lot Dwight, two cool shots there my friend
Looking good Mitch
I made myself beans on toast at my hotel breakfast buffet in Crete. It tasted awful, the baked beans were really salty!

CK sell inexpensive tools, in hardware stores, and one or two knives, which accompany them, usually modern styles today. Here's a slightly older knife of theirs, the quality is only slightly better. I don't think I paid more than £2 for either of them. Older carbon steel CKs are much better knives

Good morning Guardians, I hope everyone has had a good week. I need to go to the docs, as I've run out of my new tablets, (I may have lost some while travelling). I'm really trying hard to slow down, but it's not easy, I keep getting requests to do small jobs, and larger ones, and some of my friends are the worst for it. I had my phone on silent, but I received a text at 3.30am, and I've not stopped receiving them, from other folks, all morningI was up late last night editing my holiday snaps, but I am only a third of the way through. I'll get this first bit of work done, which is a favour for someone, then head down the road to the docs. I have a delivery today, so I hope I don't miss it. Got my Pals with me to help out, thankfully
Have a good day everyone

Unless you have to hurry to label them before you forget what the heck this or that was.
Thank you Steve, all those 'little jobs' add up!Please take care of yourself Jack. It's okay to say no sometimes if you are getting overwhelmed. Your health is more important than any job, be it a small one or a large one.
Pals Lamb is a beauty !
Looks lovely Steve, as does your Charlie Lamb
