Some would say that you have an addiction. I say you need more. If this picture is wrong I donβt ever want to be right!!!
We have an old run of barbed wire through our property also, dates back to before the lake was built and is embedded in a few trees as well.Thank you, Todd.
I love the old tree stump. Somebody had used it as a fence post many many years ago. The tree grew around the barbed wire and engulfed it. When the tree finally died, we cut it down and found the barbed wire and horseshoe nails deep inside. That barbed wire must have been hung so many years ago... History of our little place.
Hopefully life will slow down soon Jeremy.Been burning the candle at both ends for a bit now, and that will continue for at least the next three weeks at least. This Ringed Gidgee Albers has been a faithful companion through it all. Hope everyone is doing well.

Thanks Barrett, glad you are enjoying your visit to St. Louis. Thanks, Jack. I believe those were 16 oz pints, which is standard here (and, unfortunately, 20% less beer than your pints over there). They do make some great beers. Last night I had a hazy pale ale and their export stout. I think my brother and I might try to sneak off for a couple early afternoon pints at Schalflyβs Tap Room downtown tomorrow or Friday. They have some different beers on tap there, too.
Interesting video, Jack. I still contend that Tool Man should have his own YouTube channel.
Great shot of your HHB, Todd!![]()
Stripey is looking good Steve.
Sounds like a major road trip Paul. Every time I take my vehicle in for routine service before a trip they find something wrong!Heading to get an oil change and tire rotation on the car. Got about a 1600 mile trip starting on Sunday. Carrying the K roo today.

That's fantastic Bob! You are the most generous guy on this thread and a most worth recipient from the man himself! Wonderful gifts buddy and well done Jack! You are such a kind mate!
This is me when I opened a box sent to me by our Mr.Jack.
I felt like a 5 year old at Christmas. I see friendships and interests in knives shared on the porch all the time and it brings a good feeling to my soul.
Yet, when it happened to me this time, I was floored. Jack seems to know my likes and interests very well.
Hence, he sent me these two fine gifts.
They both have stories behind them which makes them treasures to me.
Thank you deeply Jackand parden my ramblings.
That's because you're a novice. It gets easier...I know! This retirement thing is hard!
Wonderful image John!
I hope you didn't find the wire with your chainsaw blade. The tree grew around the barbed wire and engulfed it. When the tree finally died, we cut it down and found the barbed wire and horseshoe nails deep inside.
