Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Thank you, Todd. :)
I love the old tree stump. Somebody had used it as a fence post many many years ago. The tree grew around the barbed wire and engulfed it. When the tree finally died, we cut it down and found the barbed wire and horseshoe nails deep inside. That barbed wire must have been hung so many years ago... History of our little place.
We have an old run of barbed wire through our property also, dates back to before the lake was built and is embedded in a few trees as well.
Been burning the candle at both ends for a bit now, and that will continue for at least the next three weeks at least. This Ringed Gidgee Albers has been a faithful companion through it all. Hope everyone is doing well.

Hopefully life will slow down soon Jeremy.

Thanks, Jack. I believe those were 16 oz pints, which is standard here (and, unfortunately, 20% less beer than your pints over there). They do make some great beers. Last night I had a hazy pale ale and their export stout. I think my brother and I might try to sneak off for a couple early afternoon pints at Schalfly’s Tap Room downtown tomorrow or Friday. They have some different beers on tap there, too.

Interesting video, Jack. I still contend that Tool Man should have his own YouTube channel. 😁

Great shot of your HHB, Todd!
Thanks Barrett, glad you are enjoying your visit to St. Louis. πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘
Good afternoon Guardians

Sounds like a major road trip Paul. Every time I take my vehicle in for routine service before a trip they find something wrong! πŸ˜„
Sweeeeeet!

Good pic of your HHB πŸ‘

Pal sure is nice!

Good pic of Charlie Lamb πŸ‘
Thanks David. πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘
Celebrating this new arrival...still in awe Jack. 🀩

This is me when I opened a box sent to me by our Mr.Jack.

I felt like a 5 year old at Christmas. I see friendships and interests in knives shared on the porch all the time and it brings a good feeling to my soul.
Yet, when it happened to me this time, I was floored. Jack seems to know my likes and interests very well.
Hence, he sent me these two fine gifts.

They both have stories behind them which makes them treasures to me.

Thank you deeply Jack 🀩 and parden my ramblings.
That's fantastic Bob! You are the most generous guy on this thread and a most worth recipient from the man himself! Wonderful gifts buddy and well done Jack! You are such a kind mate! :DπŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

I know! 🀣 This retirement thing is hard!
That's because you're a novice. It gets easier... 😁
Good Morning Guardians
Wonderful image John!

I hope you didn't find the wire with your chainsaw blade. That's happened to me on several occasions.

Beautiful grain on that one Jeremy.

I have a few things to get ready for tomorrow, and then I think I might open a bottle of wine
I just turned to Cherri and said - "what am I drinking?" - She said "I don't know; you fixed it."
I've been lucky, and never had a single problem with air travel.
I cannot BELIEVE you just uttered those words!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:oops::oops::oops: I'm knocking on wood and offering prayers... πŸ™

Neither can I! 😱 I forgot about the tornado when I was flying home after Christmas! πŸ˜–
Amazing photo! πŸ˜ŽπŸ‘

Good morning Guardians, hope you all have a great day πŸ™‚πŸ‘

We went to another Cardinals game tonight. Our seats in the outfield included all you can eat food β€” Tool Man would’ve loved it! 🀣 β€” as well as all the beer you could drink.

The food was decent enough β€” hot dogs, bratwurst, nachos, brisket, grilled chicken, cookies and brownies. The brisket certainly wasn’t the best I’d had, but it was pretty good when used as a topping for the nachos. 😁

The beer… well, it was American macro-brew stuff… but did I mention it was all you can drink? πŸ˜‰ Let’s just say I got my money’s worth. 🍺

As you can see, I had my Afzelia Burl Albers with me. Knives under 4” closed are allowed in Busch Stadium, which is nice. (I had it in a pocket slip, too, so I don’t think it was noticed as we were going through security anyways.)

One last picture: the Cardinals’ closing pitcher coming out to finish the game. The Cardinals won, 4-2.
