Thank you BobThank you Jack. I hope your weekend is going well.
That looks like it was made last week David
I hope everyone is having a good weekend, or at least getting warmed-up for oneI'm looking forward to meeting up with a few of my pals tomorrow. Wolfie is no longer 'in training', so can have a pint, and Matt will be out, along with a few more of the guys. While I don't expect high temperatures, the forecast is at least 'fine'
I haven't carried this one for a long time, picked it up about 2018, if I remember correctly, might have been a bit earlier. Wright's had enough old Sambar to do ONE Lambsfoot, but not enough for a Swayback
I prefer the pile side stag

That's the way...teach it who's the boss. It looks much better that way Paul. The road to ownership for #3 has begun. This steel takes a nice patina. Cut up some pork chops and scarfed it down for lunch. Another rainy day here. Hope everyone had a nice day.

Thanks Dwight, most of the old Sambar we managed to source during that period had already been cut for steak knives, and the pieces were too short for a standard Lamb, without an extended bolster, and for a swayback, unless it was the shorter (eg AC) sizeWow! That is some very nice Sambar Jack!![]()

That's good mateThankfully there was a new kids movie the girls were both excited to see, so they didn’t mind the change in plans.![]()
Thanks palGood looking knife, Jack!Although the swayback seems to be the “standard,” it’s nice to see a Lambsfoot on other (fitting) patterns, too.
Great-looking Lamb Barrett, I do like Eric's work, he has captured the pattern perfectlyI’ve been carrying my Curly Katalox Albers a lot lately.

Hey Mitch your "blackthorn" post sent me down the rabbit hole. That is some very cool stuff.
Thanks Barrett.Very cool knife, Dwight! Love the sawcut bone, and that blade stamp is great!
That curly Katalox is some very interesting wood. It looks to be super tight grain. Does it seem to be extra hard?I’ve been carrying my Curly Katalox Albers a lot lately
Thanks Jack! I read "Harley Copoper". I was thinking... "I've never heard of a Harley Copoper... but it sounds like a cool bike"Great pic buddy, I love the old HarleyCopoper's Dip is a sweet Lamb
