Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good morning Guardians, it's going to be another hot and humid day here. I'll be heading to the dog park early while it's still not too hot.

I got a great surprise in my mailbox yesterday. Generous Bob strikes again 🙂👍

There was this nice Rodgers Rosewood Lamb and another that I'll show in the other thread. Very lightweight lamb with great walk and talk and lovely Rosewood handles 👍

Thanks again buddy !

Have a great day everyone !
Wow that's a good one.
Very nice of Generous Bob😎😎
Three years ago, while visiting a local town, I spotted a sign for a 'Deep-Fried Chip Butty'! I was quite aghast at the idea, but some research revealed them to be a recent trend, emanating from a particular part of Leeds. I did think about returning to get one for Yorkshire Day that year, but unfortunately I went down with a bad bout of sciatica. I still haven't seen one for sale in central Leeds, or anywhere else I visit, but this greedy sod, who I reckon would give Tool Man a run for his money, seems impressed. Funny that the battered chip butty comes accompanied with chips! :D Maybe I'll try one at some point, but it wouldn't be something I'd undertake casually ;)

Nah nah, grab the torches and pitch forks, messing with a classic 😤🤣🤣
Bread, chips, optional butter and perhaps a dash of vinegar!
THank you very much Zach :) That sounds nice

Bit steep, but I'm sure it's worth it! :D Did you win last year Bob? I was thinking it was Mitch, but that must have been the year before :) I'm pretty sure my Yorkshire Day posts pre-date this thread by a few years :D

That's good to hear Steve, me too :)

Totally gratuitous chip butty pic! :D Expect more ;) :D

LOL! :D The chip shop in the video is in the middle of a vast South Leeds housing estate (project), called Middleton (known to the locals as 'Miggy')! Boring Ray lives there :D If anyone was going to try deep-frying a chip butty, I guess it was bound to be them! 🤣

Thanks for the clarification mate! :D I notice we swiftly heading towards 100,000 posts, and 5000 pages, so I'll be doing another giveaway soon :)
Morning all,
Just after 6.30am here, couldn't load pics last night.

That looks delicious Mitch 😋 I had the same problem loading pics

Thanks gents, it was tasty, family was happy. I like to use port rather than red wine adds a bit more flavour.

Very nice David. Glad weather is tolerable.👌
Thanks Bob 👍🤠
Thank you David, I hope you enjoyed your chips 😊 It turned out sunny here, so after getting my chores done, I had a stroll down to Charlie's Cafe for a coffee and a piece of baklava, (which they serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream). I figured it would be a bit hot to put the oven on, when I got home, so I picked up a takeaway curry 👍
Sounds good 👍
Love the patch David! 😁👍
Thanks buddy 👍🤠
Work ready🐑

I would eat both of those deep fried delicacies. As a trained by television chef I give them a “6”. I thought he was eating a real egg for dessert for a bit. Although I watched all of Downton Abbey and recognized the language that sod fellow had an unusual English accent I found unintelligible. I should have turned on the Closed Captioning. That video gave me a good laugh. Thanks Jack.
