Entries seem way down on previous years, and a couple of members politely asked not to have their names thrown in, so as to give others a chance I'm simplifying things this year, to save time, and have the names written down on a piece of paper, at which I will stab at with my Hartshead Barlow, with my eyes closed, and hopefully not injure myself! Thanks, Dwight. I'm not sure how I have LESS free time now that I've "completely retired" from my former occupation, but I can no longer seem to keep up with both the Totin' Today thread and the Guardians thread, so the Guardians thread has been getting short shrift from me for quite some time (only 2 posts from me in the past 2 YEARS , although I'll sometimes spend a couple of weeks at a time just "lurking" silently among the Guardians).
I enjoyed your "Whiter Shade of Pale" reference!

I am glad to hear you finally, truly, actually, honestly, in reality retired! Maybe it will stick this time. I hope you two get over the covid. It's been going around here too. Take care my friend.

Wow! Thanks, Jack! I didn’t expect to actually win the GAW… I was mostly just in it for the chip butty! Of course, that won’t lessen my enjoyment of the prize.

Thanks for the congratulations, Guardians. This is a great group to be a part of, and chip butties on Yorkshire Day has become one of my favorite Guardians pastimes.
