Great way to start DavidThis is my first one. It started me on my journey of appreciating the Lambsfoot as a very fine blade design. This is an entry
Thank you Jack.

What a lovely idea, I hope you have fun togetherI bought my wife a bike for her birthday last week, Jack. We have some gravel roads and woods around our house we can walk or ride on. She was happy!

You have been a super-spreader Bob!It was such a pleasure coming from modern styled knives to traditionals.
I gave away my first 4 or 5 lambs after my knife illness began. I wanted to help spread the disease.
So this is my earliest as of now.

I again, will sit in the bleachers and not participate. ( I was a recipient of Jack's kindness last year).I will enjoy everyone showing their earliest lambs.
Thanks again all, for the warm welcome you have shown me.

Those of us, who have received one as a gift Jack, hold them in high regard. The first Lambsfoot knives I acquired as an adult, were these two:
The first was gifted to Charliewaynorth , and the second to Jer @screenedporch , both more than a decade ago. Like Bob, I wanted to spread the love, and over the years, I have given scores of Lambsfoot knives away, the figure will be well over a hundred. Most of the recipients were new to the pattern, and not many didn't take to it

Much more than the excellent gifts of knives, Jack, the concept of the Lambsfoot pattern is the greatest gift of all!! You have instilled it in all of us wretched collectors!!The first Lambsfoot knives I acquired as an adult, were these two:

That looks really tasty Glenn
Very nice Tyson. My first lamb is on the left in this pic - I wonJack Black 's Yorkshire Day giveaway a few years ago. It has been carried (and used!) a lot, but once I got the HHB (also from Jack) it became the lamb I carry the most. Great knives, and this is a great thread. Thanks to Jack and all my fellow Guardians for this cool space on the internet.
By the way, this is not an entry - I've been the recipient of so much generosity from Jack already that I'd be embarrassed to win anything else here. Good luck to all the participants!
