Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Duly noted, pm Barrett daily & twice on Sundays 😅😆

“We’re sorry, the BladeForums member you are trying to reach is unavailable. Goodbye.” 😉😁

Probably a bit too normal for Tool Man! :D

That’s fair. 😁

Strange, considering his many years of cutlery training and mentorship

It's almost as if those knives might have been made by the same person

Curious on both counts. 😁

(As for the blades, though, I was really just saying that he doesn’t seem to be getting the poorly-ground, bottom-of-the-barrel blades they sometimes churn out.)

When the third film was at the theatres, a bunch of hippies who used to live down the road from me, were going to see it together, but were watching the first 2 movies first. I had to call round at their house for some reason, and there were a load of them crammed in the living room, intently watching the first one. I made sure to call in, and say I was just off to town if anybody wanted anything, to much eye-rolling, shushing, and even wailing :D A couple of hours later, I had to go back. By this point, they were all rapt, watching the second film, so I walked in, and asked "What have I missed?!" 🤣🤣👍

I have to admit that I made Julie watch the first two films in one day so we could go see the third one in the theater. I’ll let you guess how that went over. 🤣

I'll just say this, of all the US customers, only one included their country in their address, whereas all the Canadians, and the others, all got it right! 🤣;)👍

That sounds about right, unfortunately. Now pardon me while I go look back through some old emails… 😳😁

Off-topic is perfectly acceptable Barrett, but I hope folks will try to focus on the Lambsfoot, at least in part of their post

:thumbsup::thumbsup:

That's right Barrett, we did! :)

Sorry I dropped this post before

No worries, I overdid it and had to post in two parts which broke things up, and I think you were also posting at almost the exact same time.

Not so early, just had to deal with my bank, fraudulent activity, card blocked, password changes, and all because I wanted Amazon (who I subscribe to as a Prime member) to ship something to the USA!

Oh no! What a pain. 😡

Nope, no cauliflower rice... It's pretty boring... plain brown rice, skinless chicken thigh with salt free seasoning and a dollop of sour cream. Slathered in habanero sauce. If you're not used to spicy, it will knock your socks off. Makes me sweat a bit, but very tasty! My wife claims I'm not human! 🤣

That doesn’t sound too bad, then, especially with the habanero sauce! 🔥

I received this lovely GL-24 today. I can't say thank you enough to Barrett, Eric, and Jack for pulling this off and offering me a chance to own one. Now I want another chip butty. 😁

Great pics! 😎 I’m glad you like it, and thanks for pointing it out in the group pic. I’ll get that updated again soon.

Now importantly, you mentioned buying a chip butty. You mean to tell me that’s something I could have actually ordered while I was in England a few years back!
I make them at home - it may be sacrilegious but I put a thick gravy and melt cheese onto it with a sprinkle of salt. Did not realise it was available on the street!

I think that’s more of a “poutine butty.” 😁

Good looking group of Albers Lambs!

Add a generous splash of Henderson's to your chip butty - so good! (I cooked chicken last night with Henderson's and it was great!) If you don't have Henderson's, HP Sauce or A1 also do wonders on chip butties.

That’s what the dark spots on some of the Guardians knives remind me of… Henderson’s stains! 😁🤣

Smashing Dwight
Thanks buddy.
A pleasure mate, in a few years, you won't be able to get any sense out of me! :D

Both Lockwood's and Elliott's have interesting histories. One of Lockwood's first factories was on Arundel Street, which is only a stone's throw from where they ended up:

Prior to that, they rented space at the old Butcher Works of Wade & Butcher (lots of photos in my Sheffield Factories thread)

I always enjoy this type of history. Thanks for sharing it Jack.
Big J arrived on a vintage ladies bicycle,
Super cool bike. Your 2024 GL is a dreamy rig Jack. Great image of it.
Good afternoon Guardians !

We have goats on our property helping eradicate Buckthorn and other undesirable plants and weeds which have taken over our property. They are voracious animals and seem to enjoy their jobs. They even climb trees .

My next-door neighbor has 16 acres of woods. After he had about 10 goats for a year you could see everything from the ground up to about 6 ft. They only left the dirt and the rocks. 😁

Happy Friday Eve!
I always enjoy seeing the patina on your knives Taylor. Good to see you here mate.

I really don't like to have to remind people about this, so please cut me some slack,
It is up to us to adhere to the protocol that was put in place at the start of the Guardians. You don't need to be given any slack, we have to be more stringent. I am as guilty as anyone running off topic, but it is still the most civilised thread at BF. 🤝

Nice pic Mitch !

Planning on being home for lunch but as happens been out in the paddock a lot longer than expected today. Quickly stopped in to the local bakery for a pepper pie and continue on my way.
