I have to agree with you, the Lambsfoot was the one and only knife, that has stopped my incessant looking for the perfect knife.So tonight I spent a little time CF'ing and chicken eye'in my four A Wright Lambsfoots...nice pieces of kit, each and every one, and all unique in character. these knives have soul, something about them is timeless...I could well get on for many a year with no other pocket knife
Vince inspired me to try my hand at a lambsfoot haiku.View attachment 1040596
First posted in haiku thread:
Lambsfoot, who made thee,
With thy stellar Sambar stag?
Ashley, of A. Wright.
(With apologies to William Blake)
I like it, Gary.Vince inspired me to try my hand at a lambsfoot haiku.(But he is in no way responsible for any shortcomings of my effort.
)
Tapered, tang to tip.
Straight edge, with a swayback grip.
Make mine a lambsfoot!

Thank you, my friend,Dave you're a good egg my friend and this is a better place with you here.
I like those shaped handles. Haven't got one yet. Not from Wright's anyway. There's my stranger with no name:I'm not yet a Guardian, but I have finished filing papers to adopt a shaped handled one with rosewood covers. With any luck she'll be home by the New Year.
