Nice Minnesota-made mug, Bob. Is that coffee company based out of New York? If so, you’ve got a mug made in MN that came from NY, and a knife made in NY that came to you from MN. 😁

Another bottle of old faithful done.

I bet there are some folks with some bad memories of that one, too. 🤣

Very cool Barrett! Did you do that or Eric?

Thanks, Dwight. That was me. Sometimes I doodle when I’m bored. 🙂

Winda was in my pocket for a week of visiting with my Grandsons and Family - my Son and his Wife! Great visit; and on the side I enjoyed showing the old Polish Micarta to a few Geezers, asking them if they had ever seen that stuff before!! The material looks very familiar to me, but I cannot remember where/when I have seen it before!!??
Behold Winda and her distinctive "Beauty Spot"!!!
The kids enjoyed watching her slice up some apples!!

Sounds like a good time, Charlie! Winda’s looking good!

It’s Father’s Day in Australia so I’m out until tonight. My eldest boy picked me up this keychain from the school fete. I’m lucky to have some amazing kiddos to call my sons.

Have a good day all and happy Father’s Day from Aus 👍🏼

Happy Father's day.

Happy Australian Father’s Day, gents!:thumbsup:

My GL-24 got to put in a little work yesterday unboxing a new charcoal grill. I’ve needed one for a while now, since the bottom vent on my old, well-used one is basically rusted in place. (I’ve worked on it a couple times and got it to free up, but it never lasts very long.) I had hoped to buy a new grill toward the end of last summer, but I never found a sale on them, and I’ve just been making the old one work this summer (because I didn’t want to pay full price on principle). Yesterday Julie went to get her nails done, and when she was done stopped in the local hardware store next door. Surprisingly, they had the exact grill I wanted marked down almost $100! So now I have a new grill. 😁

We didn’t have anything to grill last night, but I’ll definitely be picking something up for dinner tonight.

Those two are quality products of two fine states. The coffee is too bitter for me.

Nothing better than food from a grill!😎

Congratulations Barrett, bet Julie and the kids are excited too! 😋 😁 I was thinking of you yesterday, when I was standing waiting at a bus-stop, and a bus pulled in carrying a side-banner for some Tolkinesque drama series pulled in. The slightly older man next to me, looked up at it, and asked me, "Why do elves always have the same bloody haircut?!" 🤣🤣👍

You too David, nice pic :) I was intending to take some indoor pics of various flint and steel kits earlier, but I've left it too late now :D I'll see if I can find an old one with my Hartshead Barlow :)

Well, I found this one! :D The steel is the last one I bought, about 5 or 6 years ago. I bought it from a young Polish guy, who lives in Leeds, Jacek Robotka. He later forged a couple of knives for me. I have a handful of good hand-forged steels, but this throws sparks better than any I reckon :) No complaints about the others though :D I bought it off him at Jorvik Viking Festival. I asked if I might try it, and pulled a piece of flint out of my pocket :D I bought the small leather pouch at the same time

I've never used a full size Weber, but I've used a Smokey Joe for years. When this one wears out, I'll buy another one 👍👍👍

What else can be said about those unique lambs? Nice David. Glad you don't need to hide with the ac on.
Thanks Bob 👍🤠

Fine pice of your HHB and steel buddy 🔥👍 🤠

Cool book
Love the knife and love the book
Thanks gents.
I wouldn’t call it a hobby but I try to get first editions, particularly with a dust jacket of all the old hunting books I have. That’s a great find there
I've had a copy of the book for many years. When my dad passed I kept this copy which he purchased long long ago.
Cool pic Dwight, nice to see you're prepared in case the Gremlins get out of hand!
Another cool pic my friend
Much obliged mate.
Simply gorgeous.
That's a wicked edge Dan. And a spooky lamb...
Dan has a Doctorate in EVERYTHING
Exactly what I was thinking. It's a wonder the Argentine authorities didn't find Dan and drag him back on charges of brain draining the country.

Thanks Barrett
Nice weber. Roast chicken and roast pork every weekend at Barrett 's place.
We bought the old man 1 back in the 80s every special occasion up until recently he'd be cooking meat the day before or in the morning of the day
Hope you make lots of traditions with the family.
