Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Hey Paul, how're you doing brother? I thought those night shifts were going to be a thing of the past?!
I will be off of them 1 January 😊. Unless they put me back on them. If I get the Night Shift Supervisor position…….Ill be on them for a while 😂😂
My dad would quit his pipe for a year at a time, and still go back to it  Those nights can't help mate
Tobacco is so hard to kick.

Good early mornin Guardians. I’m still kickin 😂😂. Workin the night shift tonight.

I had kicked the Copenhagen chew for a month and a half but I’m back 😞. I’m a weak man. My wife just laughed at me and shook her head.

On to some bad news. My best Army buddy and the Godfather to my oldest son lost his dad suddenly and unexpectedly last night. I will be making the trip to South Bend next Tuesday for the services. It will be good to see him as I have not seen him since my last deployment, but wish it was under better circumstances.

Looked through the knife drawer and realized I don’t give this knife the love it deserves. Carrying this great Shadow Rodgers that was a generous gift from Rufus1949 Rufus1949 .

Hope everyone has exciting weekend plans lined up.

Sorry to hear about your friend’s loss Paul. That really sucks. 🙏🙏

Last batch of peppers for the year are pretty straggly-looking, but good flavor. I'll supplement with some peppers from the farmer's market tomorrow and made hot sauce.

Last one for the day I promise.

Had another surprise waiting for me at lunch. After getting a Guardians Lamb this year I felt it needed its very own slip. Sensational work @sbh06 👍🏼

Really sorry to hear about your friend’s dad, Paul. Losing a parent suddenly is so hard. I’m glad you’re able to go for the funeral. Make the most of your time with your friend, it’ll probably help him more than you might know.

Happy Friday Guardians!!
Another day of carrying 2 Lambs...

Really cool shot!

Tobacco is so hard to kick.

You didn't fail - quitting is a process, not a one-time thing. So you went a month or so, then had some chew. Great! Now you quit again. See if you can double the time before you have it again. And don't finish the can you bought - you own it, it doesn't own you. You are a badass, and you can do this if anybody can.

Good morning guardians,

Putting a leg of lamb into the slow cooker shortly and then start prepping some pita bread for souvlaki tonight. My youngest Billy turns two tomorrow and we’ve got the in laws and my wife’s brother and his partner and their son coming over for tea.
Billy is in truck/tractor craze currently so presents are all centred around that.

On the subject of lamb I present:

Sounds delish Jack!.😋 I hope Billy has a great birthday. I don't remember my 2nd birthday, but, bizarrely, I can remember my 3rd! 😱 Nice composition there :) 👍
