Always a bittersweet time, meeting like that. My condolences Paul.Good early mornin Guardians. I’m still kickin. Workin the night shift tonight.
I had kicked the Copenhagen chew for a month and a half but I’m back. I’m a weak man. My wife just laughed at me and shook her head.
On to some bad news. My best Army buddy and the Godfather to my oldest son lost his dad suddenly and unexpectedly last night. I will be making the trip to South Bend next Tuesday for the services. It will be good to see him as I have not seen him since my last deployment, but wish it was under better circumstances.
Looked through the knife drawer and realized I don’t give this knife the love it deserves. Carrying this great Shadow Rodgers that was a generous gift fromRufus1949 .
Hope everyone has exciting weekend plans lined up.

Glad they're OK Jack, cool pic of your new LambMorning guardians, quite a nice spring morning 17C at 7:30am.
Went to let Bob and the girls out and noticed a fox has tried to dig into the pen overnight. The brick was completely covered over so he’s had a go. I tied off and buried chicken wire that curls back toward the outside, once they hit that they give up.

Thanks Michael, the first place I was going would normally be a 5 minute walk from the train station, but with all the streets fenced off, I had to walk a mile! Thanks Jack! Glad things went well for you in the sister city.
My mom had a Lively (ETA: shows what I know -- that is a Jitterbug phone... my brother was the one that got it for her) flip phone. Looks straight out of the 90's but with big buttons. Works fine as a phone.

Something to crow about JackBob doesn’t feature in photos very often, leghorns aren’t the quietest chickens. This is him.
Mind the mess, it is on the list to tidy.
