Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Good early mornin Guardians. I’m still kickin 😂😂. Workin the night shift tonight.

I had kicked the Copenhagen chew for a month and a half but I’m back 😞. I’m a weak man. My wife just laughed at me and shook her head.

On to some bad news. My best Army buddy and the Godfather to my oldest son lost his dad suddenly and unexpectedly last night. I will be making the trip to South Bend next Tuesday for the services. It will be good to see him as I have not seen him since my last deployment, but wish it was under better circumstances.

Looked through the knife drawer and realized I don’t give this knife the love it deserves. Carrying this great Shadow Rodgers that was a generous gift from Rufus1949 Rufus1949 .

Hope everyone has exciting weekend plans lined up.

Sorry to hear about your friends loss mate, it’s never easy. Wishing the family all the best.

Morning guardians, quite a nice spring morning 17C at 7:30am.

Went to let Bob and the girls out and noticed a fox has tried to dig into the pen overnight. The brick was completely covered over so he’s had a go. I tied off and buried chicken wire that curls back toward the outside, once they hit that they give up.

Glad they're OK Jack, cool pic of your new Lamb :)
Great pics Steve :)
Looks like a good fire kit. 👍 😎 Pic!
Thanks pal, doesn't take up much room :)
Your photo didn't come through. 🤷‍♂️
I hope it's there now Leon

Thanks Jack! Glad things went well for you in the sister city.

My mom had a Lively (ETA: shows what I know -- that is a Jitterbug phone... my brother was the one that got it for her) flip phone. Looks straight out of the 90's but with big buttons. Works fine as a phone.

Thanks Michael, the first place I was going would normally be a 5 minute walk from the train station, but with all the streets fenced off, I had to walk a mile! Tool Man's phone looks like an earlier model of your Mom's! :D
Beautiful hot sunny day today...

Couldn’t decide which lamb to take out today.

Hard choice! :D
Alas... a victim of your own success... :(;)😁
Beautiful old architecture Jack!
I've been trying to ease into retirement for more than a decade Dwight :D Thank you Gary, looking round the city centre, they clearly weren't afraid to knock huge swathes of it down, and rebuild it with modern stuff  My first meeting was in an area known as Little Germany though
Bob doesn’t feature in photos very often, leghorns aren’t the quietest chickens. This is him.
Mind the mess, it is on the list to tidy.

Something to crow about Jack ;)

Plain oak today

Nothing plain about that one Mitch :)
Somehow dropped this quote earlier. Nice to see Pals Lamb again ! 😍👍

I enjoyed the pictures of your outing again today 🙂👍
Thank you very much Steve, I hope they have something to show after the end of all that disruption over there
Last one for the day I promise.

Had another surprise waiting for me at lunch. After getting a Guardians Lamb this year I felt it needed its very own slip. Sensational work sbh06 sbh06 👍🏼

Hey Paul, how're you doing brother? I thought those night shifts were going to be a thing of the past?!

My dad would quit his pipe for a year at a time, and still go back to it  Those nights can't help mate

Great pattern :)

Good morning Guardians, the sun is out here, but I'm working from home today. I don't have time to go into town, but I might get the chance of a coffee at Charlie's at some point ;) I hope everyone is doing well, and that your week has gone OK. I was surprised how much finding my way round the steep Bradfordian streets took it out of me yesterday, old age I reckon  Have a good day Guardians, the weekend is almost here :)

Until I was 65 I had never taken a nap. Then all of a sudden I could close my eyes at noon and sleep a solid hour! :)
