Me neither, but that is a great pic!Cool pocket watch
Tool Man buys cheap Ruskie type quartz pocket watches from eBay. He insists they are the best watches money can buy. They come with various tacky designs embossed on the back. He was trying to persuade me I should buy one, and when I told him what I thought about the tacky designs, he told me there was one with wolves on, as if that was absolute class!
I said, "Those aren't wolves, they're Alsatians (German Shepherds). When me and Tool Man were young, 'Alsatian' dogs were de rigeur with the sort of people who later progressed to pit-bulls and smoking a substance that rhymes with back. Since, the classic run-down housing project in Leeds is Gipton, I dubbed the watch 'The Gipton Special'!
I know Tool Man hates me saying this, so every time he is showing somebody his watch, I ask, "Is that The Gipton Special?" Just to see him wince! I then add a line of "The Gipton Special's coming down the line..." Tool Man hates it, which of course makes it all the more amusing!!

What a sweet little doll!
Hilarious WillAhoy Guardians! Trimming the tree in my front yard has really taken it out of me, so I'm taking a couple days off and resting up with two new additions to the permanent collection: An incredible slip from our very own @sbh06 and a stainless TEW lamb wearing rugged Bexoid pants from our also very own SeñorJack Black - both part of the lucre received from winning Jack's 5000-page-lambfootery extravaganza!

My dad and his GF flew to Quebec to catch a cruise down the North American continent's eastern coast, which has tagged me in for cat-feeding duties. Before you get all excited, there aren't any cat pics, and my dad's cat "Glammy" looks pretty rangy even on her best day - not very photogenic as far as cats go.
What my dad and his GF do have, in lieu of a photogenic cat, are the home decor and design sensibilities of a commune of mystic, new-age, incorrigibly metaphysical yet financially comfortable, hippies - so I used some of their stuff as props. Since I'm not being compensated for feeding the cat, I'll chalk the photographic liberties up as my fee.

Definitely not! That's funny Jack! I suppose he doesn't show it off much if you're near. Thanks, too, for the compliment. I don't know much about the watch other than I'm fairly certain it was my granddad's. I found it in my dad's box of keepsakes after he passed. My dad never wore a watch; when he did he had a knack for either terribly etching the crystal or outright breaking it while working. Anyway from what I can gather this was a fairly inexpensive watch that he likely purchased in the 1970/80's. It still keeps great time as long as it is wound daily.
Sweet shot Dwight
Looking good Jer

Tool Man and his pals are big fansI wonder if he picked up a Lambsfoot while he was in Sheffield? Stan Shaw made knives for The Crickets, who used to visit him
I read an account by an old feller, who was saying a few of them were standing around in Sheffield early one evening, and this big tall bloke, walked up, grinning broadly, and chewing gum. He asked them the way to the City Hall, where he was playing. It was Buddy Holly
