Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Yes, there are a lot on my street my friend, but the kids aren't interested in them anymore, and I wish the Victorians had planted SWEET chestnut trees, rather than HORSE chestnut trees! πŸ™„πŸ˜ It is also my favourite season, but the past few years, it has been a very short one, as we have passed from summer into winter within a couple of weeks. I'm hoping it won't be like that this year πŸ‘
I’m oblivious to the chestnut world, are the horse ones inedible?

Wunderbar Jer πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Absolutely gorgeous Bob 😎 Real sorry about your limited sense of taste πŸ˜ŸπŸ‘

I hope you get a bit more buddy πŸ‘

Nice to see Roper Bill πŸ‘

Better than being back to elevator MUSIC! 😱 Great pic Pat πŸ‘

Good for you Pete πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘

Hope you have a fantastic trip Bill πŸ˜ŠπŸ‘
Thx Jack! I'll be off-line for three weeks. Be back home on October 5th.
Bill

This year was actually the last Ted Do in Blackpool, the highlight of Tool Man's year,
I hope that loss won't be too traumatic.

I hope the Victorians weren't Ohio State fans. (Buckeyes)
One good thing about horse chestnuts, according to my late Uncle Don, is that carrying one in the pants pocket on the side that hurts is good against rheumatism.

I'll have to reinstitute my neighborhood walk and look for them.
And hickory nuts. I want to plant a few of those wind-fast wonders.
Heavens forfend I should buy one.

Complete Lambsfoot content. ;). Was slicing some stuff up today, and had forgotten how good a slicer my CC Lamb is. It is in the top 2 of my best slicers. We were completely spoilt with this release, Bill and Charlie are to be congratulated, just such an historic knife so well made. I remember the pandemonium when they dropped, in hindsight was very warranted. 🀣🀣🀣. And i may be highly compromised and biased, but the Jigged Bone was the finest out of all of the drops..

One of the best !

Good morning Guardians, Barrett's fantastic giveaway has certainly livened the thread up, and I'm enjoying everyone's pics. Not that it was exactly sleeping before of course! :D My internet connection was bad last night, and it's the same this morning, I'm going to have to investigate that. Going to be mostly working from home today. I hope everyone is well, and having a good week :) Carrying the GL-24 again today :) Have a good one Guardians

Great picture Jack !

Good evening guardians, a wee drop of wine while cooking tea tonight πŸ™‚

The leaves are starting to change here so it won't be long.

I hope that loss won't be too traumatic.
Big Dave reckons he has already sorted out an alternative for next year, but I think Tool Man and the Ted's are right in take his claims with a bucket of salt! πŸ™„πŸ˜πŸ‘

Good tip Jer πŸ˜‰πŸ‘ And a nice photo too πŸ™‚ I have a waistcoat on today, which must have the best part of 20 pockets, and I forgot to put my reading glasses in any of them! πŸ˜–

Leeds is a big university town, and so the influx of tens of thousands of young people in mid September is very noticeable. The returning students occupy about twice as much space as a normal person, and the new ones take up twice as much space again. Most of them are leaving home for the first time, and almost all of them seem to have never been in a supermarket, on a bus, in a big city, or in the company of so many other young people, before. And they have arrived with a whole hunk of change, just begging to be spent ASAP. So, the geeks spend heavily on comic books, the cool cats get their first tattoos, the fashionistas browse the High Street, and the hipsters stock up on beard oil and pipe tobacco. The Goths have to wear every item of Goth gear they'v3 purchased, all at once, and it's the same with every other sub-culture. And almost all of them are going to be drinking for the first time this week, and heavily. And I'm eating carrot cake in a coffee shop, and wishing I'd brought my ear-plugs, as well as my reading glasses πŸ™„

I'm sure you'll have some tales to tell us my friend :)
Jack, are you sure you're not Klingon? That Vietnamese dish looks like gagh.

I'm putting Roper back in the game this morning.

I had to look that one up Jeff! :D The only Klingon I know is Tool Man, who will klingon to his wallet until his knuckles are white! :D Nice shot there :)

Beautiful lamb JosΓ©. πŸ‘
He returned from the annual Teddy Boy do in Blackpool, full of flu,
I wonder if that in any way hinders his appetite? 😊
