Guardians of The Lambsfoot!

Sumptuous stag on your AC, Steve!

Congrats on your pair of new lambs, and thanks for sharing your reactions to them!
What is the senator sitting on in that last photo? Ball of string, worm community, coverless golf ball, coconut cookie???

Splendid stag HHB! You must feel blessed, David, to have an HHB of each flavor!

Um, I'm kind of busy right now, and my last attempt at an estimation project (Bob's coffee bean guessing game) went horribly wrong!

Unforgettable covers, Dwight!

Thanks for the replies, Jack.
The replacement HHB you sent me doesn't have an attractive edge, but it has always cut very well, and I can hone it with no difficulty.
Thanks for the interesting comparison photos of the Landshark's blade with a "standard" lambsfoot blade (although the "noses" of lambsfoot blades exhibit a lot of variability).

Thanks, Steve.

That wood is quite an attention-grabber!

Live Long and Prosper, Steve!

I always admire the stag on your senator, Mitch!
Did you dye it, or did it come to you with that reddish color?

I like the wood covers on your lamb, Jack!
What is it sitting on? Rock, loaf of bread, ant hill, some kind of aged wood???

Superb knife, Barrett!

Thanks mate.
It's darkened up with use, was standard. I'm liking how it's ageing.😁

Brian enjoying the spring sunshine 😊

— Giveaway UPDATE —

I’ve really enjoyed the entries in the GAW so far, y’all have done a great job with your condiment-and-Lambsfoot posts. As promised, I’d like to offer everyone a chance for a second entry.

While the giveaway theme was open to any kind of condiment, many of you, perhaps unsurprisingly, opted to share some kind of hot sauce. And when you’re eating spicy food, you pretty much have to have a beverage to go with it, right? So for a second entry, let’s see a beverage and Lambsfoot pic. It can be alcoholic, non-alcoholic, maybe you need a tall glass of milk if you’ve been using some of that really hot hot sauce… whatever you like, as long as it’s a beverage.

The only beverages in the house at the moment are water, beer, coffee and tea. After a day packing the car for my trip to Tennessee tomorrow, amongst other various chores, I finally took a beverage and lamb pic. Nice soothing cup of green tea is just the ticket. I'll be mostly off line for the next week or maybe two. See y'all when I get back.

All I see now is morel mushrooms (not that I’ve eaten one) and I love this knife even more.
What’s the hand piece? We can own pistols but need to be an active member of a club which I don’t have time for.
Haha! The pistol is a 1/2.05 scale replica of the Colt 45 model 1911. Non-firing
Wonderful Lamb and nice model of one of my most favorite handguns. I was heavily influenced by Mr Cooper and a few others as a young man
Thanks David. Mine too. 👍

You gentlemen haven’t lived until you’ve had my grandma’s catsup first made over 100 years ago in the hills of West Virginia! First pic is from about two weeks ago when I was at my brothers house and we were bottling a fresh batch. The second is one of the bottles I brought home 😀😋.View attachment 2667151View attachment 2667152
How do I get some? Next time I’m in SF? 😁

I had numerous "farm sets" all mixed together in a bucket. We loved setting up various scenarios on a rainy day. (We also had a bunch of army guys, cowboys, and Indians, and the stories would sometimes get quite sophisticated.)
You and i are cut from the same cloth. Exactly what i used to do as a kid. Every Christmas was always hoping there would be a set of farm animals or soldiers under the tree. Times were a lot simpler then.

.
I like these photos with the toy sheep and fence rails and fox!
I grew up on a dairy farm, and my brothers and I had numerous "farm sets" all mixed together in a bucket. We loved setting up various scenarios on a rainy day. (We also had a bunch of army guys, cowboys, and Indians, and the stories would sometimes get quite sophisticated.)

I’m 33 and I think I was the last of the lucky generations - no social media, phones or video games.
Until I was old enough to take a gun dad used to let my brother and I walk a few km through the paddocks with a hunting dog and a knife to find a fox or a rabbit (or for us anything that moved). That was my favourite!

We had cowboys and Indians along with all the toy animals growing up on the farm. Also went outside with my brother and played war or cowboys and Indians or whatnot with our toy guns, bows and imagination.

We weren’t allowed inside unless it was pouring rain or 40C either!

Trying to keep my kids the same as much as possible.

I’m digressing I know, here’s a lamb!

Good morning Guardians, looks like I've got a lot of catching-up to do! I was in Liverpool yesterday, a city I've only visited half a dozen times in my life, and not for over 15 years. Matt's missus, Ruth, was visiting an old college friend with the kids, so Matt had offered to drive on the way there, so me and him could stay in the city centre, and visit a couple of the city's historic pubs. It sounded like a good plan, but unfortunately, there was a bridge collapse, while re-surfacing work on the motorway, was being carried out the night before. This meant a 90 minute diversion, both ways, which was a real pain in the backside. We set off early, but it was nearly 1pm before we got to Liverpool. Me and Matt visited a couple of nice unspoilt old boozers, and had pie and chips in one of them (no Henderson's sadly), before going to meet Ruth and the kids. It was a long drive back, and when I got in, I had a cup of tea, and hit the hay. I took a couple of pics on the way to meet Ruth, of an area I've not seen before, looks pretty new, with some oddly-shaped buildings, at least one of which is a museum.

Definitely feel like I need some Waboom in my step today! :D Have a good one Guardians
