TrueTool Man doesn't look like much of a swimmer to me. I nearly spit out my coffee with the last line.
As much as technology drives me crazy, this community wouldn't exist without it, so for that, I am thankful.![]()

Another great picture Dwight. Happy Birthday to your daughter
Happy birthday to your daughter Dwight. Sounds like a great meal ahead.
A fine lamb to party with
Thanks gents for the happy birthday wishes!Fantastic DwightHappy Birthday to your daughter, and I hope you all have a wonderful time
Great shot
Thanks Jeremy. The more expensive bourbons and scotch come and go but there's always Knob Creek 9 here.Knob Creek meets three criteria, great taste, moderate price, and is available each time I go to the liquor store. Great looking lamb and accompaniments in your pic.
Thanks Barrett. 7 hrs and 21 min on the pork butt. That’s a lot of pulled pork, Dwight!Happy birthday to your daughter!
I agree about the Buffalo Trace. It is very hard to come by here but the new Chris Stapleton bourbon called "Traveller" by Buffalo Trace is very close and it's readily available here.I'm fond of Evan Williams Bottled in Bond, too. My go-to, if I could only have one, would be Buffalo Trace.
I have no doubt it is very difficult. I've just about decided to start building them myself. Thanks! They are incredibly difficult to build. Mounting the top wing is the dreaded part. I just have to finish the rigging and landing gear on that one.
It was a great party mate!I was thinking that is an awfully tiny pistol! Hope it's a great birthday celebration. With that much meat and plenty of whiskey, I don't know how it wouldn't be.
I can just hear Tool Man and company holding forth on Plato's cave! They sit around outside Tool Man's shed, drinking cheap, strong lager, and talking ill-informed nonsenseI will suggest Plato Tyson
That's dedication, discipline and commitment! Many years ago, I had a hard-drinking friend, who was great conversation. We would often drink into the wee hours, discussing philosophy, politics, and life. In addition to beer, he had a penchant for strong, 100 proof spirits, (there was only place in Sheffield that sold 'Polish Spirit', and it was 4 times the price of whisky), and I would often gift him a quarter bottle. Early one morning, we were just passing from one subject to another, and I asked him, "Just before we start on 'The Meaning of Life', (or whatever it was), would you like another beer?" I got two beers out of the fridge, and handed him one. Sitting down again, I watched, as he poured himself a shot of spirit, and tipped it back. He continued to talk again, pulled the tab on the can of beer, then mid-sentence, he lost consciousness , and just swung to the side of the sofa, like a metronome, with the beer still in his hand! One second he seemed fine, the next he was unconscious!
John Daly wouldn't.While drinking the two, he ponders why he always loses
