Good morning all.
I hope our southern members stay safe from the hurricane.
Just noticed the edge. Well, I have an afternoon chore.

There were apocalyptic warnings of heavy rain here, and of colder weather too. It was supposed to rain heavily all day, which inevitably put off some of the market traders, and potential customers. In fact, it didn't rain at all this morning, and the weather was quite mild, but by then the damage was done, and the market was more than half- empty. Tool Man was there of course, and Boring Ray, but Nobber Al had knocked, along with many others. We had fewer visitors too, with only Captain Birdseye, Two Masks Mary, and Harry Hotballs (pictured) passing by, along with Slimsline Scott, and Glamorous Caroline, just before lunchtime. I was surprised to see Maurizio had turned up, and he had acquired an air forceI'm going out for tea, so I excused myself early, in the hope of getting a nap, and the rain started, lightly, as I was on my way home

Will, Endurance looks great and is well named! Here in SW Florida we already have flooding (not at our home, thankfully) and Helene isn't even here yet.
Prayers appreciated for minimal damage to life, limb and property! Diego is getting much pocket time and fondling.

Barrett, I can agree with that thought.Interesting slim handle shape on that one, Bob. Almost looks French.
Sorry to hear that, Jack. Here, these hideous (in my view, at least) "white cube" things have historic Coconut Grove in a stranglehold.Unfortunately, dozens of similar buildings are ruining the skylines of cities throughout the country![]()
